Bryant and lackey are the only reason the cubs are losing this game.

Great move

Extra hitter on roster
Down 2 games to 1
Down 3-1
21 outs left in game
7-8 outs left until pen comes in
Lackey getting hit hard

Let's let lackey leadoff!

Nobody will be happy but they did progress this year so it is not a failure. Losing in the nlds or nlcs would be a failure in my mind, but not this. They are still springs chickens and it is showing up in the playoffs with this hot and cold hitting. When these kids get to their prime and stay consistent good luck to everyone else.

You think they might look for a veteran guy with post season experience that could bring a little fire to them? It just doesn't seem like we have a true emotional leader for moments like this.

Whatever it takes. That one looked like it stung, though.

One of the better strike zones I've seen this post season
And that's only because it's been consistent lol.

Hard to believe Bryant was able to draw a walk there as emotionally wrecked as he is.

You think people will end up being happy with that? Or will they view this season as a total failure if they lose? Honest question.
Total failure .. No
This is basically year 2 of a mostly young team..
Year 1, they reached NLCS
Year 2 , they reached the WS

Big disappointment.. Yes
Their getting decent pitching, they get a split in Cleveland
But
The offense has decided to shit ice cubes and go cold again in 12 innings at home..

What we thought would be a strength, is a weakness so far

Hopefully that means he'll stop sucking.

I wish games would show the position of the D before each pitch, maybe up in the corner.
