Could really use la stella on this roster as he'd be starting at 3b with zobrist back at 2b and bryant in lf with baez off the bench

9 rhp on their roster doesn't set up well for javy

Lackey might have settled in but probably too little too late. I'm honestly kinda surprised he didn't light the defense up for the errors. He did in LA and I felt like that was a pretty pivotal moment.

You could see Baez getting a big head as it happened. He is young. This is part of it. This happened to all the other Cubs not named Soler/Schwarber last year too, because they were young and playoff inexperienced.

Baez's head blew up like a balloon with each piece of attention, to the point that I think he started making plays harder than they were to be "cool" and center of attention (the right infield pop-up where he "misplayed it" and fell down). He is swinging for the fences every pitch to be center of attention.

Its fucking sad and he is swinging as bad as any player you will ever see right now. Its embarrassing. Indians have his number. Probably Francona is all over it.

He needs to not let it effect his defense, and we just need to hope he runs into a mistake pitch for his confidence before this thing is up.

Just pull Baez for the rest of this game.... Maybe he will wake up. He's had bad AB's for most of the WS..... Zobie to 2nd Conteras to left and Miggy to C.... Shake this shit up. Sometimes upsetting the balance can be a positive. What do they have to lose at this point, another WS game.... Not looking good right now...

LaStella won't even be on a major league roster next year..
Baez will only get better as he learns each year
