No stress, it's just the whirlwind of rumors without any facts make me not even want to read into anything written about the off-season. For the reason you mentioned, I've been burned like every other Bulls fan by rumors. I just want to hear when something's done.

If we did find a way to move Deng for nothing, i wouldnt even try to sign JJ for cheap if we had Bron and Bosh. That would be overkill. We already would have the most talented starting 5 no matter who you put at 2. Use that money to get a cheap sniper like Morrow or Kapono and build quality depth to your bench.

I would look for an average 2 guard as well but i would also use that money to extend the contracts of Rose and Noah.

You can choose to believe the rumors or dismiss them. I'm doing the latter. I follow the notion of where there's smoke, there's fire, but I also know LeBron and his posse are a bunch of attention whores. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him bolt somewhere else.
I'm also not that worried because we have a damn good core right now. Losing LeBron isn't the worst thing that could happen. Rose is a budding superstar, Joakim is a double-double player with upside, Deng is a solid SF and Gibson could get even better. Anything we add on to this team IMO is a positive. Whether it's LBJ, Bosh, STAT, Johnson, Boozer, Dirk, etc.
I don't know what's going to happen on July 1st (or the 8th, whichever date it is), but I do know that I'm going to enjoy watching Rose become a star and Joakim climb his way up the rankings for C's. This is an exciting young team with a lot of potential if we can add on to it.
Oh, and see how Thibodeau does on the sideline.

You can do that later and go over the cap with the Larry Bird exception. Id try to build a deep team to win now because Rose and Noah arent going anywhere.

I wish more people would look at it that way. People think if we dont get Bron and Bosh we're screwed. IMO, if Bron stayed in CLE and we could add Bosh and JJ, we'd still have to be the favorites to win the East and i guess JJ is willing to sign a long term deal at 10M a year so you would still have some millions left over to build a bench.

Look, right now we have the most of what LBJ wants. A good roster, cap space, and a marketing city. If he doesn't come to us, someone else will. It better be Bosh if we don't get LBJ tho.

I really hope we get Bosh. Id love to have Lebron too but I think I'd rather have Bosh. We could still get Joe Johnson if we dont get Lebron.

Lebron is not the best player in the NBA. He still has holes in his game. He is not a Micheal Jordan caliber player. He isnt consistent enough.
Im not saying that Bosh is better than Lebron. PF is a bigger need then SF though. SG is a bigger need then SF.
Im not saying I dont want Lebron. I just dont think everyone should jump off a cliff if we dont find a way to bring Lebron in. There are other options.
