Pujols be 32 this year and if u look at his last 3 years eveyrthing has dropped. Im not saying Pujols isnt a great player. I think he is and will be top 3 player of all time. Fielder always been a big guy. He very athletic for his size and i dont see him falling off the earth anytime soon. Again prime years are considered 27-32. If you sign Fielder ur getting all those prime years. Then only 3 years out of his prim. Where Pujols u getting 1 prime year and 7 out of it.
Most guys aren't as overweight as Fielder.
Regarding Pujols, his numbers have always been at a level that one could call excellent. If a down year is .304 and 30+ HRs, Ill take it.
