They toe the line for many reasons. Fear being one of them. At least local media. Not fun NOT being able to cover the hottest team in town, and or being left out of the "sesationalism" *most journalists go after to get their game out there.

They know just how long Tallon has been gone.

Point being? He certainly wasn't out "scouting future NHL Talent" with his "vast" NHL/Hockey experience. Wait, he didn't have any and was only given the job because an old friend asked another old friend, to hire him. Wonder how many knives Tallon had to pull from his back?

Point being...he's been in some sort of role with the GM since 2001 ....

I'm not - and won't defend McD...but Bowman is the GM now and will be going forward.

I'd rather just "unite" during Stanley Fucking Cup week against the Fuckbag Flyer fans...and not against McD and company. I know, I shouldnt come to the thread (I'm saying that seriously - not mockingly)....but I'd really like to see as all hate the Flyers instead of our front office. These Cup things are few and far between.

Eh, I can separate the two. While I'm stoked we are where we are, at the same time I am completely sad the two PRIMARY Architechs are not here to enjoy it. All because some asshole has to have a giant fucking ego the size of Montana.

So while I will massively enjoy what is coming and what has past, I will most certainly know where MY Loyalty and GRADITUTE for being able to ENJOY THIS FEELING deserve to go!

This team will win, not because of Mcondough or Rocky, but because Bill Wirtz finally decided he wanted to win before he died. Unfortunately for him, it happeed after and the guys he put in place to get there were shafted JUST BEFORE they arrived.

No worries...

I'm just getting aggravated at the Filly Fux .....reading some of their posts/messgage boards...then coming here and we're ripping on our own (and yeah, I know why)....just want the Emperor's Hate to go all towards them and I'm everything Blackhawks now...(good or bad)

Don't worry in Two days it's all HATE for the Flyers. Right now we are in limbo.

I'm purposely staying away from their boards just for the reason that they sucked all ass when they were almost swept, now they are the best thing to happen since the light bulb.

Reading after game #3 againt the Bruins to now and those fans are just a bunch of complete dumb fucks.

They have yet to face a team like the Hawks and if they think they have, the hockey knowledge it extremely limited.

I think just Filly...they were the only team that sucked ass, almost swept....and now talk shit.

the 3 "offensive juggernauts" they're so proud of beating -

NJ - 19th in offense

Bos - 30th in offense

Mtl - 25th in offense

Chicago beat -

Nash - 18th in offense (even better than NJ..lol)

Van - 2nd in offense

SJ - 4th in offense

...I'm sorry....I'm derailing this...I'll stop
Meanwhile Keenan has done what other than leave scortched earth wherver he's been?
He tends to rub people the wrong way, but given the players, has produced results.
he has proven he can coach, but can only stay in one place for so long as he wears on players very quickly.

his record as a GM sucks holy balls. Keenan actually started the downward spiral of this organization with his awful drafts. Lucky for him Mike Smith came along and trumped those drafts with even uglier drafts of his own.

Ironic the same he was being paid as GM......... To just go away. Nice loyalty there alright.

I was NEVER a huge Tallon fan, but it is undeniable the finger prints he has ALL OVER this team. From top to bottom. From draft to trade to UFA signings.

We'll see just how good DT is at building teams as he has a lot of work to do in South Florida. I think he will do a very good job there.

Not only Keenan's crap ass draft picks, but the trading of youth for vets help lead to that disconnection of team on the ice.
