Yes, and they need to resign Seabs and Brouwer, a goalie, upgrade 5th/6th D-men, and figure out 3rd and 4th lines (keeping Stahlberg and others on expiring contracts can cost more $$$). Also, won't the kids on the Hogs eat up a lot of cap space if they earn a roster spot next year?

Hey, if it all works out and you can keep Campbell, that'll be great. I'm not a BC hater.

If Seabs keeps playing like he did Monday in Colorado we won't be needing to give him a raise. Every time we gave up another goal more rediculous than the last Seabs was out there...the worst was the tying goal when he basically did an "ole" and let the guy shoot and Keith didn't move the screener and Craw could not see it. Jeeezus at least Soaps used to block shots for all the hate he got.

Our "best" players are...NOT.

@kausatoday: Ryan Johnson is signing a two-way deal with the Blackhawks. He could be in the lineup tomorrow.

Good news for the PK and a great defensive forward to help out in their own end. not the saviour, but a good start.

It's now confirmed. Ryan Johnson will be playing tonight, wearing #17.

Yeah I just saw they "signed" him on ChicagoBreakingNews. hahaha

Well... at least I know he has the ability to play in the NHL, whether or not he still can will be quickly determined. I will say that until then, he's my least favorite player by proxy.

There's a way to add a table, but I can't remember how to do it.

Yeah, I tried a few times before deleting it.

It looked perfect when I hit the preview and post button but then it came out like that.

BTW, thanks for quoting me when it looked fucked up, I was hoping no one would see that.

Cullimore waived.

Wow. I am now so all kinds of confused.

So is Ryan Johnson going to play d-man? I'm kidding but this is weird news. I thought Cullimore had played pretty darned well this season. Wonder if anyone will claim him.

So...assuming Johnson plays forward...do we see Hendry or Scott on the backend? or, do they bring up Leddy or Exelby?

Cullimore has been playing damn well!

It shoulda been Boynton.

I think Pisani is back tonight so they could move Hendry or Scott to D if they had to, but according to Q Cullimore is still playing tonight.

Maybe this is why Cullimore over Boynton?

Cullimore has a 2 way contract and makes $105k per season in the AHL.

Boynton has a 1 way contract and makes $500k per season in the AHL.

Could be a purely financial reason. Not in a cap saving way, just saving money in general.

Thanks. I've always been confused on the IR vs the LTIR, although I do know the LTIR has Cap ramifications for the following season.

I could see them saving money anway they can. They are forking out 5.4 mil to a certain goalie still.

Yeah no kidding I don't get this at ALL. Heck Monday I was much more comfortable with Cullimore out there than Mr. Seabrook!

Hmmm...lots of mixed messages lately from our organ-I-zation's coach and GM.
