Well, a trip to Atlanta just got more appealing.
I'd probably only do 1 road-trip and Atlanta would be a great place to go now that it's like the new Blackhawks - East. I've been to a Thrashers game before as well and I doubt it would be hard to get good seats cheap.

And we can get Chic-Fil-A.

Count us in for a St. Louis trip!

The February trip might be the best.....the December trip is just days after Christmas. Might be harder to get tickets with the kids out of school and harder to get a hotel room too.

Ashley will be making the trip too!

I'm leaning toward that trip, too. Dec. 28 is so soon after Christmas plus a weeknight.

Trust me... if you want to go to Detroit, go with others. Definitely don't go alone.

pfff, i wouldn't sweat it at all. i've only missed a handful of games at the joe in the last 20 years with only one bad incident occuring last year.

plus now with the cup win, shit talking will be cut down big time. plus it's easy to get tickets to the joe.

We will be in Cali for the first west coast road trip in November (around Thanksgiving). We are definately seeing the Anaheim game and may see the L.A. game too. We are also keeping options open for an ATL trip.

I think Ladd going to Atlanta just made my decision easier. I think I'll be heading to Atlanta with the wife this year.

My wife had the same idea. I'm really hoping to go (money permitting).

Wife and I have decided to do this trip. We know someone in the area that we have not seen in a while, so this gives us an excuse. Now, just need to decide if we are going to do a train, drive, or fly. Almost tempted to drive so I can visit my father on the Kentucky lakes.

Probably gonna do some traveling this season... go see our first hawks game in Chicago... Will probably hit up the Edmonton/Calgary hawks games.... maybe a canucks game.

I might go to the Calgary/Montreal outdoor game... could be fun.

I'm highly considering Atlanta if I can come up with the money for it... The transit there looks pretty darn good, the seats should be available and cheap... and they have a train from the airport and Phillips Arena as well. Very convenient.

Check the official site out for more info on the rail system.

Plus, if you're looking for a cheap hotel, there's also a Motel 6 in the vicinity of the arena. You won't even have to rent a car! ;) *ding*
