Don't forget that we were investigated for cap circumvention after the season we signed Hossa though for his contract, and there were even rumors about them being able to take the Cup away lol

That would be an awesome team. Unfortunately there is a 0.0000000001% chance of it happening.

That team is a wet dream. The thing about wet dreams though is that they almost never come true.

again just got to make the numbers work. Those 2 deals put them in the top 20 of top paid players and cap hit while fitting them into the cap. So to say it cant be done is false

I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying it won't. But if it did, that would be an amazing team. They would basically have to win the cup.

Didn't see that. Just saw that the Hawks were interested in one or both of them. But that was from jaeckel

:dealwithit:

I think Brookbank will be fine. I'm just not an Oduya fan

I actually didn't mind Oduya. He was bad in the playoffs but only a couple hawks players were actually good in the playoffs this year.

I mean Oduya has declined since his 7.7 PS days in New Jersey, but he still posted a solid 2.8 last year, and a 1.1 for us... he could be worse.

I'll admit he did help by bringing that pass game to get it out of our zone. Other than that he had like 5 good games, one were he posted 2 points the rest he was ok at best. I don't like his cap hit for the team for what he brings.
