I do agree that they're on the slide, and the truth is that I'm SHOCKED that they didn't and both Suter and Parise. As a matter of fact, if I had my choice to have landed a few studs and let them have that pair, or suck ass the way we have and watch them crumble, I'm for the latter. We're in better shape going forward than they are.

I'll say it again: Bowman's going to have to make some trades if the Hawks wanna upgrade the roster for next season without throwing stupid money at someone. Free agency signings aren't worth it anymore. I could understand overpaying for legit stars like Parise and Suter. Overpaying for guys that aren't quite as established isn't as wise of an investment, IMO.

No use ripping the goaltending. Not only will it do no good for Crawford/Emery but why purposely drive down their trade potential?

About 99% of GMs are going to pump the tires of their own players, regardless of what they say behind closed doors. It is nothing more than talk.
