I don't know. The over 1,000 people on the waiting list don't seem too upset. I would never give up Hawks season tix if I had them. Sell if anything because you're never going to get the chance to get them back again.

Unlike the White Sox...

Last I heard, the waiting list was over 7,000. Pretty crazy.

No reason to give them up unless you can absolutely not afford them. Even then there are solutions like selling a portion of the games, splitting the season with a friend/family, etc.

Not a smart move to give up Hawks season tickets at this time.

I thought that date got pushed back to the 15th or is this a new development?

The Coyotes future was supposed to be solved by tomorrow but it doesnt look that way anymore. Big surprise...

the news here said it looks like the petitioners got enough votes to get the overturning of the sale on the ballot (I was one of those signatures! :D )

I thought I read Doan said he would leave if it got onto the ballot

I could have misread that though...lol

which is why all they have to be is somewhat competitive. They dont need to win the cup, they need to keep flowing the cash. Smart business bad for the fans. Oh well, we got our cup I guess.

Hate to break it to ya, but my dad isn't making a whole lot at his job.

So I fail to see the humor. And besides this team isn't worth it.

Raise ticket prices & not even improve the roster.

Whatever money my dad does have, will be spent on something worthwhile.

Sorry, McDouche & Co can go stuff it. UC has become Wrigley Field indoors.

nobody cares how much money your dad makes.

I laughed because you complain like half the city is dropping their season tickets when only 1% did

Atmosphere at the UC was better when Kane & Toews were rookies compared to the gong show McDouche turned it into.

Because your comment, "Atmosphere at the UC was better when Kane & Toews were rookies compared to the gong show McDouche turned it into." was pretty ridiculous.

I was going to quote it myself and say that, but instead I simply just thanked Dmelt's post and moved on.

I guess it is a shocker considering I don't thank many posts. Don't act like you don't thank the posts of one poster continuously...who cares.

Still a lot of quality free agents out there that Bowman can jump in on.

I still think the Blackhawks have plenty of skill but just need some help depth wise and then figure out the goaltending situation once and for all.

Might have to be a summer filled with trades versus free agent signings though if Stan wants to get stuff done.

Still plenty of time...let's hope the time and cap space is used wisely.

Then please explain why the atmosphere was better when Kane/Toews were here before McD?

It makes no sense. Seems like you are blaming McD for the atmosphere change? I mean really?

Tickets are harder to get and more expensive because the Blackhawks have become a hot ticket in Chicago again.

It seems like the Parise/Suter really stalled everything. There are some guys out there that could make this a better team still. I am not optimistic about something getting done, but there is still time to change that.
