From a business standpoint the hawks are doing everything right. If they stand pat they will me a mid to low tier playoff team and still pack the house and make money, and they know this and MCD knows this very very well. Fans living off of 2010 is music to the ears of the hawks brass. If a fan opts out of season tickets, there is a waiting list and its perfect for the business.
Now as far as it goes for the fans that arent drinking the kool aid, they get what they are doing in above paragraph but arent happy.

^^^ My top guy from each section would be...
Dominic Moore - would help out down the middle and would help the PK. Is more of a 3C though but can (and has) play wing, minus the PK and faceoffs.
Shane Doan - Provides some of that nastiness that the Blackhawks can use and can still help out even strength and on the power play. The guy can still play. I rather take a chance on Doan than Semin.
Carlo Colaiacovo or Michal Rozsival - both play a solid defense game, provide some nice hits, but both are a bit injury prone. Nothing too sexy here but some decent minute eaters.

I was on my phone.
The obsession with players that are old, have "heart" and "nastiness" are very meatballish.
We need a real defensemen, not another filller. And I dont want anymore players on the wrong side of their careers. How has that been working out? maybe bruno will comeback with a lesser salary than the 2 million he made last year because he infact has heart, and stands in front of the net. unreal

I don't know. The over 1,000 people on the waiting list don't seem too upset. I would never give up Hawks season tix if I had them. Sell if anything because you're never going to get the chance to get them back again.
