It isn't early anymore, but there are still moves out there to make this team better. Doesn't mean that Bowman gets it done, but there still is time.

I have lost a lot of hope after the eventual, expected outcome of Parise/Suter, but we've got some pieces that we can trade and a few free agents out there that could really help this roster. Now I hope that Bowman can pull the trigger on something to improve the roster since one of the teams that was weaker than Hawks in the West has certainly gotten much better this offseason.

Yeah. Sometimes we get lost in his random rants, but the point that the Blackhawks are turning their attention into atmosphere vs acquiring on ice talent now concerns me.
They acquired the talent for the cup run, and now they're living high off of that instead trying to sustain their success IMO.
Heck, works on me. Just bought another shirt.

I think you need to realize that when Bowman opens his mouth to the media and talks about how he likes his team, his goalie, etc...it means absolutely nothing. What else is Bowman, Rocky, McD, etc supposed to say? It is simply talk and nothing more. You seem to get so worked up and call Bowman an idiot every time he speaks...but you are taking what he says as fact, and that probably isn't true most of the time. I'm sure Bowman and team are working behind closed doors to fix the needs that they see, it is a team effort not just one guy when it comes to management.

It's not 100% one way the or the other.
Just because their focus isn't 100% on player development/acquisition isn't a bad thing, when the management is complacent with their "core players" that concerns me.
The Bulls believe(d) that their core can win a title. How's that looking right now?

Yea...but haven't the Blackhawks core won a Stanley Cup before?
My personal opinion is that the Blackhawks have plenty of skill but they need to work on their depth. Their core isn't the issue here.
