He has indeed.

Really, out of everyone who has been on one side or another on this one (and we all have some blood on our hands), he really is showing he is going above and beyond as king troll. Surprisingly, some people who I thought would be right there with him have actually toned it down and are being pretty good about it.

But BearsBud stands alone as an imbecile.

Put the rope down vash...You have 7 years

Did Phil Emery break a mirror and receive this as a punishment?

It's pretty easy to tell, by reading how people write, who is reasonably intelligent and who is as dumb as a box of rocks. Pride might love Cutler but he's a smart guy. Bearsbud and desperado, while perhaps not bad guys, are profoundly stupid individuals. None of this surprises me.
Explain. I've been pretty much right about everything I've said about the team so far, so has bud.

Ease off. Least I don't wish ill will on someone who plays a sport. Where does that leave your intellect?

Anyways here is my take

Im happy Jay is back but 7 years is a too much imo. Need to see the cap figures

Very happy Slauson and Jennings is back but I wonder about Tillman?

I feel the same way. I am happy that Cutler is back but I would have preferred a 3-5 year contract. I know he isn't guaranteed 7 years but still.

I'm happy about Slauson and Jennings.

I really hope the Bears bring back Tillman for at least one more season. They should keep him and look elsewhere for upgrades like the defensive line, safety, etc. Maybe draft a cornerback next year since Jennings is already locked up.

I would have liked someone like Marcus Roberson, Bradley Roby or Jason Verrett but they will ride the bench with Tillman and Jennings playing unless if they remove Isaiah Frey from the nickel.

Ok, time for the important question. When are we signing Josh McCown to cover for Jay when he misses his customary 3-7 games a year?

Watching Cutler's turnovers the last 5 years has been bliss for you? Mediocrity is bliss, as long as it's Cutler.

You've just essentially admitted that you don't care about results, all you want is Cutler playing. Well done.

I get it. You pussy is all bruised with the Cutler signing. Sucks when you are on the wrong side of these things, but whining about a past decision that you had no control over comes across as just sad...

Right about what? Everyone knew he was coming back, whether we wanted it or not. Where we differ is that some of us have major concerns about his inconsistency and durability, and actually think about the future, whereas others are whooping and hollering in "bliss" simply because they have an irrational teenage girl type of love for the guy, and don't care about whether the Bears win or not, as long as Cutler is playing. To your shame, you fall in the latter category.

Just to add, I know some people strongly dislike Jay Cutler...I never got it. My girlfriend would probably say it's cause I'm an a-hole as well...or something. But the guys all seem to love Cutler, they always have his back and I don't think it is just "team speak." This team has something and I am practically giddy that the offense is getting a chance to build on it, one and all.

Now it is time for the defense!

Stop it. All you want is Cutler to fail, even if it costs the Bears a win.

Obviously he cares about winning, he backs up the guy who is a WINNING QUARTERBACK for our Chicago Bears franchsie.

But no biggy, man. I'm sure someone with your superior intellect should waltz on over to halas hall and have a sit down discussion with Emery and Trestman about why you don't support their decision.

I think they probably want to see how Tillman recovers from his injury before deciding on him. Either way, I think you need to draft another starting caliber CB because can't count on Tillman recovering 100% or being able to still healthy even if he does.

This is especially true because I think we need to start playing more Dime packages (6 CBs). In the Lovie era when we had Briggs and Urlacher, it made sense to play Nickel even when teams went 4 or 5 WRs. However, given the state of our LBs, I think we should probably should be playing dime on obvious passing downs especially on 3rd and long.
