I get it. You pussy is all bruised with the Cutler signing. Sucks when you are on the wrong side of these things, but whining about a past decision that you had no control over comes across as just sad...

Go and play in traffic. You're not even a bears fan. Get fucked.

wow...The backtracking is amazing.. Pretty soon he will be claiming to be a fanboy

Backtracking from what? I thought before that we'll never win with Cutler, and today I think we'll never win with Cutler. My feeling on the matter haven't changed an ounce. Where's the backtracking?

I think they probably want to see how Tillman recovers from his injury before deciding on him. Either way, I think you need to draft another starting caliber CB because can't count on Tillman recovering 100% or being able to still healthy even if he does.

This is especially true because I think we need to start playing more Dime packages (6 CBs). In the Lovie era when we had Briggs and Urlacher, it made sense to play Nickel even when teams went 4 or 5 WRs. However, given the state of our LBs, I think we should probably should be playing dime on obvious passing downs especially on 3rd and long.

Good point. Thanks.

Not backtracking. We've been very open and upfront on it.

You are acting like some on the rag pre teen who gets all emo on people who dare insult the great Justin bieber and still believe him when he says he isn't a pothead.

Right about what? Everyone knew he was coming back, whether we wanted it or not. Where we differ is that some of us have major concerns about his inconsistency and durability, and actually think about the future, whereas others are whooping and hollering in "bliss" simply because they have an irrational teenage girl type of love for the guy, and don't care about whether the Bears win or not, as long as Cutler is playing. To your shame, you fall in the latter category.

I don't know why you are faulted for this stance.

I actually believe the Bears CAN win with Cutler, but I haven't seen enough proof to validate my belief. I guess I just want to believe that this guy can get it done now that next year he will have been in the system for more than a year and will have the protection he needs overall continuity that offensive excellence demands.

But I don't blame anyone for thinking it's naive to have this belief. I can't blame anyone for being frustrated with Cutler either. I don't understand the irrational exuberance of Bearsbud and Desperado even if I want to believe that "their guy" can be a successful franchise quarterback.

Its a pure strawman argument.

He's so high on the re-signing he's ignoring all logic, reason, and previous statements so he can release his load in orgasmic fashion.

What the idiot doesn't realize is he has to clean up when he's done, and that won't be pretty.

If you cant understand why were extremely happy with a 7 year signing of the QB we have been defending against constant attacks. You need to put the pipe down

Personal view. There will be no more excuses from anyone level headed enough to admit it. When the GM & HC back you in all the ways imagineable, it's time to produce.

Oh and I agree with HHM. I think that's the best way to view it if not entrenched on a particular side.

@JasonPhilCole: ESPN reporting Cutler deal to average just north of $17.6 per year. That's a good price for #Bears, even with $50M guaranteed.

Let me break it down for you, Bearsbud. If Cutler wins a Superbowl, you will be right and I will be wrong. Not before. Since he still hasn't achieved a thing of note in 8 years, I am still correct until shown otherwise. Same goes for desperado. You aren't "right" until Cutler proves us wrong, and I still don't believe he ever will. So stop acting like you idiots have won anything. 3, 4, 5 or 7 more years of mediocrity and failure doesn't make you right, it actually enhances your wrongness.

I think as well this is a huge move for both Emery and Trestman. They have effectively hitched their waggon to the previous regime's QB. If Cutler doesn't play well there's a good chance it will mean a lot of change within the next 5 years.

Cutler will never win a SB,but the Bears just might with him on the roster..QB's dont win SB's..Teams do..And teams win SB's with bad QB's, so the Bears have a good chance with Cutler who is an above average QB
