20g in 4 seasons isn't a bullshit stat. It was fact that he has done that. What's bullshit about that?

He's only hit 40+ points 3 times in his career (2 times were 50+)... the rest are around 30 or under. He also has hit 20+ only 3 times in 8 years.
To me, that's not average, that's his ceiling.
Regardless, he needs to stay healthy. I think he has grown as a useful player that you can plug anywhere in the lineup, but I'm not expecting 50 points out of him. In his entire career, he has never played a full season.
So I guess Kane is only a 60-70 pt player...and not considered a PPG player, since he misses games too
Maybe there?
I'm not arguing that lol... I said he needs to stay healthy, which has been a challenge for him. Never played a full season in his whole career, if he did he would probably hit around 45-55 points, maybe even 60 with Sharp, Saad, and soon to be Bickell being gone and getting that top line time.
It's hard to count on him for 48 points when he isn't in the lineup for a full year. You gonna pull out some other BS stat to refute that?
Is that you calling it a BS stat or did Special person fingers take over there too?
And he avg .58ppg
Yes, he had the 2yrs he missed after blowing out his knee/lockout year.
In the other 6, yes, he never played a full season.
He played 432 in the other yrs - (72 game avg)
At .58ppg - 42pts a season avg during those other years. Which is still better than the 30pt claim.
Or are those bullshit stats based on something too? And wipe the grease off your fingers when you type this time so you can't make other claims.
So 76%...
So he's averaged 62 games per year... bring in the point average now... 36 points per year.
If he plays a full year... 48 points.
You know what, I've been completely wrong.
He's only been in the league 7 years, not 8
He's had 4 - 20g seasons in 7 years.
Out of a possible 540 gms, he's played in 473 - 88%
That's an avg of 72gms a year in his career.
Continuing on that....with his PPG avg of .58 ....he'd avg 42pts per year.
Now....what about any of that is BS?
07-08 he was called up for 13 games - while playing 56in the AHL. So that counts as a full NHL season where he missed games? Ok
He's had 4 - 20g seasons in 7 years.
Basically, if Versteeg plays a full 82, his stats would average to about 48 points per season.
Not bad for the cap hit.
