He's a whopping 5 years older than Maddon. What a remarkably stupid point.Yes. He's 89 years old. Dusty ain't winning crap.

So, Stanton just broke his bat at the handle. I mean shattered. The ball was 2 feet away from a home run and was good for a double. Unreal strength

You are right. The Nats are 2016 champs. We have no chance. Might as well quit now. Dusty will do it again!!! Oh noez!!!!

R U a Tool?
Please point out where I said anything like this, or even implied it.
Mickey Mantle had 2-3 longer Home Runs than StantonBack to Stanton for a minute, I just read that the broken bat double off the base of the wall came off his bat at 95.7 MPH. If that guy is natural, he is the strongest player to play this game. That is unheard of and probably never seen before.

Maybe, but a lot of Mantles home runs were exaggerated. The one that hit the forcade was on its way down and not still rising like people reported. Cecil Fielder blast in tiger Stadium could probably stand up to any home run.
It's a joke, hombre. I'll stop with the sarcasm but there are many, many managers I'd rather have than Dusty in 2016.

Dusty knows how to get guys playing for him. Nat's imploded under Willams and now are playing at their expected level.
I'm not saying they are better but they are a team that can go toe to toe.
Texas is the team I'm werry of the most. They have Cole who seems to toss no hitter stuff every time we match up.
So it is not going to be this cake ride. Any of these teams can beat and team.
That said I would rather match up vs LAD then SFG then Texas. Reason is all 3 spots should be warmer in Oct which helps Soler and Baez's production. (Mia is another but they are weaker than the Dodgers). Add to this I want no cheap victories. Just wins.
What is the point to just Cruz through hoping that we get no real challenge. I would much rather see tough match ups that create intrigue and watchable games.
Yeah, Texas would be tough - but I'm primarily thinking about the NL. Let's win the pennant first.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong about the Nats. Maybe they'll win convincingly in the NLDS. I'm just not sold on them being anything more than a great regular season team.
We'll have to see how it plays out. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong.
