Not thrilled with that return. Madrigal is absolutely the kind of player we are looking for. Heuer isn't impressive though. Hmm idk. Hopefully we can still move Bryant and maybe Baez

I mean I like madrigal a lot, just thought we'd get a little moreMe neither but never fear @knoxville7 will be here

I'll have to wait to read more about Heuer. Don't know much other than his numbers which aren't great.Nick Madrigal is a hell of a get. And Codi had a good year last year and is 24. This was a heck of a return

He's a bullpen guy. He's more like middle relief to set up than pure closer but he's good young guy to add to the penIs Heuer a big prospect? Long term does he have potential as a starter or is he purely BP?
I think the madrigal/heuer for kimbrel deal is as good if not better than Chapman for mckinney and torres plus 2 others. That's how good i think this deal is. Like Torres might have had a higher ceiling but that's the level of deal this is. Madrigal is a really good young player and the cubs have little risk with him because he's already in the majors
Does anyone think trading for Madrigal means the Cubs plan to trade Baez and move Hoerner to SS?
