  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
if yao wasn't injured, i dont know a better center in the west. You could argue tim duncan could get in on rep. after that, i guess it's chandler? kamen? camby? the center position is a very weak position. yao is the best center in the west, it's why he's getting in. howard, noah, and horford are the best centers in the east. it's really not the strongest position out there.

But Yao is injured and is probably done for the rest of his life and thus has no business getting into the All Star game. The choices on the ballot are pretty much crap though so you really can't win.

Rondo doesn't deserve it. He can't shoot and averages like 11 pts a game. How isn't he going to average 14 assists when he has the likes of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce? What other scorer did Rose have for the first 8 weeks of the season? This shouldn't even be close.:turrible:

50K votes seperates you from watching Derrick Rose starting or else off the bench to Rondo... That is a sight I do not want to see! Get at it Bulls fans, we got this....

I don't care what anyone says, Rondo IS a scrub and doesn't deserve that starting spot. He;s been injured and Boston is still rolling. It takes no skill to stand around throw risky passes only to get bailed out in it by a hall of fame scorer and he has four of them! I could average 14 assists on that team.

Rose is better and always has been.

That would be cheating. Fans are only supposed to vote once per day. It's also too much work for me.

Personally I don't care if any of the Bulls make the All-star team. I know how good they are and if the rest of America doesn't, they will eventually.

At this point, I don't think Rose really cares if he makes the All-star team or not. As he's shown since Boozer came back, he cares more about helping his teammates win than he does about personal stats, and that lack of selfishness is probably what is going to keep him out of the All-Star game.

He'll be at the game no matter what. If he doesn't get voted a Starter, the coaches will pick him as a reserve.

Absolutely. He'll probably get a lot of playing time, too. It's more about recognition from the fans and I don't think Rose is too concerned about that.

What is your definition of a scrub? A player you don't like? You didn't watch Rondo put his foot in Rose's ass in the playoffs in 2007? Give me a break!

Rose wasn't in the league in 2007 and he didn't "put his foot in Rose's ass"

And I saw Rose light Rondo up for 39 points in the best playoff debut, tied only with KAJ.

I also saw Rondo be allowed to slap, trip, kick, and throw players into the scorers tables with no consequences. I don't know what series you were watching in 2007, but it sure wasn't Bulls vs. Celtics.

Considering the Spurs won it all in 2007 against Cleveland and when we played Boston, they were the defending champions (from 2008)

And I don't like Rondo from that series. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted and got away with it.

I apologize, it was 2009 and that was 36 points, not 39. If you are going to get self righteous over my typo be right yourself...good grief.

That said, whatever Rondo got away with wasn't Rondo's fault, but thanks for answering my question...he's a scrub because you don't like him. Which is not the definition of a scrub. And I don't think Rondo played so well against Rose because Rondo "was allowed to do whatever he wanted" which is erroneous. He had his way with Rose because Rose couldn't play defense. You remember one game but you don't remember Rondo damn near averaging a triple-double for the series?

What the heck were you watching?

I do remember that.

And as I said, he should've been thrown out a at least two games. I saw him, trip guys going to the lane, smack brad miller across the face and drew blood, throw kirk hinrich into the scorers table (which should've been an immediate ejection).

And his "triple double" average was a by-product of people not paying him any attention because pierce and ray were more important covers. Let's not act like he had activated God mode out there. He wouldn't have even been in the playoffs had he not been gifted the big three the year before.

He scored because he was left open most of the time, got rebounds from long jumpshots, and passed the ball to Pierce and Allen all game. Why does it matter if I think he's a scrub (which he is). I'm entitled to my opinion and I don't have to answer to you.

Hate to piss in your corn flakes buddy but you didn't watch that series...you just made up a bunch of b.s. right there...

He scored because Rose couldn't guard him, Rose was NOT doubling Allen...nobody was...Rose was NOT doubling Pierce...nobody was. Rose's job was to guard Rondo...AND HE SUCKED AT IT!!!!! Keeping Rondo out of the lane slows down Boston's offense considerably. Rose DID NOT keep Rondo out of the lane. Saying they didn't pay him attention is super lame when it was a 7 game series. He grabbed 35 rebounds in a three game span! As a point guard! If Rose didn't pay him any attention, that is an indictment of Rose as a basketball player, because Rondo was definitely paying attention to him...by the way, he scored a lot in the paint. Rondo only had 4 3pts in the whole series.

Trying to act like a guy slipped and fell into a triple double average for a whole series is a bit far fetched don't you think? Whether he deserved to be ejected or not had nothing to do with Rose being incapable of stopping Rondo defensively. So I really don't know what you were watching. Rondo scored 29 points in that first game himself...it wasn't as if he was totally dominated.

You can dislike a player all you want...free country. But a player is not a bad player just because you don't like them. At that point, Rondo was the superior player of the two which is why he bested Rose in that series...plain and simple.

both will make it regardless and I think it is RIDICULOUS to try and talk bad about Rondo as if he is not a good player, of course I like Rose better because I am a Bulls fan but Rondo is a good young PG as well and the Assist number he was putting up before he got injured was extremely impressive...Regardless of who he is playing with

Dude, I did watch the series.

You mean to tell me he didn't trip people going to the lane? Didn't smack Brad Miller across the face and drew blood and he lost teeth, and he didn't throw Kirk into the scorers table?

Now take all those things that Rondo does for the Celtics, and put him on the Wizards or the Nets, do they make the playoffs? Not even slightly.

Has Boston missed Rondo in his absence? Not at all, they just keep winning. He's not the reason why they win, he's just a cog in the wheel, an unimportant one at that. KG's loss is bigger than Rondo's,

Now take Rose off this Bulls team, see how far they get.

Rose was beasting on him too in that series, so don't act like he was handing Rose his ass, because he wasn't. Besides, the stars in that series was Joakim Noah for having his coming out party, Ben Gordon for knocking down big shot after big shot, and Ray Allen for doing much of the same.

Rose was a rookie in his first playoffs ever and made a great showing of himself.

Let's see him get those assists in Sacramento where he doesn't have four HOF players to pass to. Or a tam shooting 51%
