Very one-sided officiating........but the creamsicles still lost despite getting 4 power plays.



And they even gave up a shortie.



So no BS excuses for them. They couldn't beat the Hawks even with help.



The real Hawks showed up in the third period and you can bet Q will tweak things to eliminate the sloppy play.



Way to go boys.

CBC needs a new color guy. **** he is brutally bias. Wouldn't stop yapping about Niemi (has been since theses playoffs started). And apparently all the missed calls on the Flyers were actually the Hawks high sticking themselves and interfering on themselves.





Jesus christ are they still pissed about the Canucks?



I don't think I will be wathcing CBC for the rest of the playoffs.





At least Don has a boner for Bolland.

to be fair, seabs did himself push up the stick to his face, so it was a good non-call. but otherwise it was brutal, not so much the calls on the hawks, but all the non-calls on the flyers.

He looked pretty jittery out there.... the flyers forecheck was making him cough up the puck alot.

Very uneven weird game. The Hawks were back on their heels against that Flyer forecheck. But they bounced back nicely in the third. The refs are a complete joke Sharp was yanked down obviously, nothing. Hope for tighter D next game. And Leighton has the slowest glove hand I've ever seen. I think Klemmer has a faster glove.

Leighton had no chance on either of Brouwer's goals and Sharps.

Ken god damn Dryden wouldn't have stopped those.

Sharp's shot, though perfectly placed, was not unexpected. Brouwer's lazers came out of nowhere, set up perfectly both times by Hossa.

I'll give you Brouwers goals. But how many big saves did he make? None he had no big saves, Boucher will start for sure on Monday. I have no doubt in my mind.

Don Cherry was ripping on Sharp for mouthing off to Leighton when he got pulled..... I liked it though... Leighton had the nerve to compare our offense to Montreal's... he had it coming in my opinion.

We did not play our best game tonight and still got a win. That bodes well for the rest of this series.



19 88 33 looked gassed for most of this game. That too bodes well for the remainder of this series. They wont have back to back games like this.



Puck was bouncing like a basketball for a good portion of this game. Hard for a skilled team like Chicago to make plays. Hope the ice is better for Monday night.



Gotta go, the Brouwer bandwagon is leaving the station. Guess whose driving?

I love Grapes, but he can be awful inconsistent in his opinions.



Loves Richards because he hurts to hit, but gets upset at Sharp for trying to get under the skin of another player.

There is only one thing worse than watching a 11 goal NHL stanley cup final game and getting beer spilled on you by a falling drunk guy... being the team on the OTHER SIDE of the 5-6 win! U.G.L.Y. win that saw Brower (BIG TWO GOAL NIGHT!!!), Bowland, Versteeg, my boy SHARP, and Kopecky with the Game Winner. If you missed Kane, Towes, Buff, and Hossa.... sorry, that's why we win. We are that deep.



Remember folks... this is the home game we DUMP to Van-can't-ver and Nash-not-so-much-ville. This is the home game we lose to those other schmucks ...and we win ugly to the Flyers. The 3rd line stepped up and won the game and YES.. kicked butt. This was the WAKE UP GAME......AND we won it! We have no ???????? just ..... we need to improve. Hmmm who is starting in Goal for us Niemi... (with a fixed mask, and better focus_)... and for Philly.... well um....hmmm well yea...... we will talk about it tomorrow.
