Does it make me a :homer: to think that the '96 Bulls would beat the '15 Warriors in any era?

It was simulated and they lost. Now, the officiating is completely different now. But, let's remember Jordan got away with a ton of push offs. It would be interesting. Curry and Thompson may be the best shooting back court of all time and Bogut when healthy makes them fierce

If we're playing 96 rules, the 96 Bulls absolutely destroy the **** out of the Warriors.

Yup... Steph Curry getting handchecked as hard as Jordan was, oh lawd.

But Curry still has that flawless step back. I think Curry would be one of the best shooters back in '96 too.

His shooting skills wouldn't change, what would is how you can play him. Thus you can disrupt him more.

Too much defense on that Bulls team. Thompson would have a hard time getting a shot off against Jordan, Pippen, or Harper.

Curry has a quicker release then bird. Curry could play then because he doesn't go to the rack. Lebron would have a bigger issue than curry. I love 90's basketball but Curry is as great as I have saw. He would get his shot off in any era.

I don't disagree but they are more than the backcourt. But, no way destroy. They have down and dirty players and they are deeper than the Bulls. This team is great and would have been a series for the ages of they played against each other

Compare benches? I'm open to discussion

Well first of all, let's discuss 'down and dirty' players. Rodman, Salley, and Harper laugh at Draymond and Festus.

Rodman is fine. The other two with green. No way. Green would be a better player in the 90's. Bogut also is way more skilled than any bulls center and has the big body to bang. Also, iggy can D up. I want to know where the Bulls were deeper.

3 other centers over 7' on the bench. Kukoc was 6th man of the year that year. Salley, Kerr, and Brown are quality guys off the bench.

And if you are downgrading both Salley and Harper, it's clear you started watching basketball in 2010.

7" foot equals skill? Who is downplaying anyone? The Warriors are 5 deep off the bench. In no way would the Bulls destroy them, they could beat them but never destroy them. This Warriors team is dynamic in a league that is all about grouping stars together. There own coach, the guy you mentioned, believes this is the best back court he has ever seen and he may be correct at least offensive wise.

So these are the lineups:

Luc Longley vs Andrew Bogut
Dennis Rodman vs Draymond Green
Scottie Pippen vs Harrison Barnes
Michael Jordan vs Klay Thompson
Ron Harper vs Stephen Curry

2nd Units:
Bill Wennington vs Festus Ezeli
Toni Kukoc vs Marreese Speights
Jud Buechler vs Andre Igoudala
Randy Brown vs Leandro Barbosa
Steve Kerr vs Shaun Livingston

Of that second unit, Kukoc is better than any of the Warriors bench guys, but overall Warriors are more talented in the 2nd unit. That doesn't mean they'll win a series simply because their deeper. In this hypothetical matchup, being deeper won't mean shit. Jordan and Pippen will hardly come off the floor. Rodman would outrebound the shit out of any of the players on the Warriors.

Lakers getting walloped by Draymon Green.

Curry and Thompson haven't even heated up yet.

So, basically, you want to play 5 on 5?

I would not rule out "destroy"

The 90's was riddled with teams that had similar level of talent to this Warrior team, and those Bulls kicked the shit out of a lot of them. I think the rules in both eras favor the Bulls.
