That should likely be qualified with "some" people on this board. Because there are plenty of us who may talk or whinge about what we want in offseason threads or even in mid-season TDL threads but who don't spend the rest of their time on the forums or in the GDTs bitching about who wasn't signed to the team. Beyond last offseason threads you won't find me bemoaning about how the Hawks didn't nab Richards last summer or Laich for example. I wanted Laich the most to finally address the 2C and once he re-upped wtih WAS I was all "****!" and then moved the **** on. Same with Flesichman and Reasoner just like wanting to trade for Gagner or Stoll last offseason. Gagner is back in posts because it's a new offseason and EDM is a failry ideal trading partner taking the fact that we're both WC out of the equation but when we don't get him I won't still be bemoaning that shit it in February. Nothing is a "loss" if you never had it in the first place. What's the point in engaging in perhaps the most pointless of fucking retroactive "What if?" games---a person could ***** about any random player in the League they wanted that wasn't signed or traded for. What a waste of energy.

I'm already at the **** Suter and **** Parise stage. Neither of them are worth the rumoured salary and cap hits...not even close. People are acting like these 2 are fucking gods gifts to the earth. They are good players they aren't the fucking league. Two 12 million dollar signing bonuses for Parise? If Rocky doesn't want to go near that then I actually applaud him for it and I laugh at the owner who agrees to such nonsense.. Suter looking for a 12 year deal and rumours that it will be around 90-100 million through that (NO LIES)? **** him and his agents and **** Parise and his agents and **** these stupid owners who will dish this shit out.

Last night NHL Network kept on referring to "The powershift in the league" depending on where Parise and Suter go.

If our 2012 year proved anything, it's that it doesn't matter what talent the team has, if the talent can't play a cohesive game within a system that everyone can play and buy into...they aren't going anywhere.



That being said...I swear when I play Be A Pro it's freaking prophetic...in NHL 2012 Tootoo went to the Wings.



In regards to Brookbank: his PIM's can be an issue since as yet we have no PK to speak of, but he would have been 2nd on the team in hits. Plus a right-handed shot. He gives Olsen a little bit more time to mature, which is good, but it still means one of Hammer/Monty/Oduya is expendible. Hopefully we can shop one of them around for a #2C or #2LW and Stan doesn't do something stupid like think that Kruger can fill Bolland's jock for #3C.
