No one on here hated Loo till he went to Van, and even then it wasn't till everyone started hating Van a few years ago. Sure he's an absolute douchebag the last few years against the hawks, but I bet if he wasn't on Van he'd have a much better chance of being sucessful. and people may not see him in that douchebag light all the time.

so you don't trust Crawford for two soft goals in 12 playoff games, but you trust Luongo and his multiple playoff meltdowns?

Yes I would take Lou's meltdown in a heartbeat over an inconsistent Crawford. Lou was in the wrong invorment, a change of a team can work wonders. Yes I have been on Lou and had his signature all over my posts but, its part of sports, any sport, I will always bring up Rodman prior to the Bulls, he was a thorn in the ass, but when he came to the bulls, everyone loved the thorn, and it can go for Carbomb, and the great Proby. I bet we would win a cup with Lou before Crawford would ever see a Cup. I am not a Crawford fan, there is nothing wrong with that. I loved Niemi. Crawford IMO can not be trusted after letting in those two goals to a player whom I have never even heard of TWICE! I don't care how he played the 20 games in the prior year. And that year teams did not know him. you don't have a Crawford sweater but Im sure if Lou came here and lit it up, you would own one, don't deny that.

Lou has also been in the easiest division in hockey... something that helps win President cups.

He's only lost once in the first round I believe (which he only played in 2gms this year of....921% in one of the losses)....went all the way to game 7 of the finals where in 2 of the 3 wins, he had shutouts..

Or on their year to the trip to the finals, they had 15 wins -

He won 12 of them by 1 goal (one 4-2 win had an EN in there), and one was a 2-0 shutout of CHI...is that good or pressure?

His career playoff save percentage - .916%

Career playoff vs CHI - .893%

Versus everyone else - .926%

I don;t think he;d be playing CHI if he came here?

there is no question Lou is better than Crawford. The contract is the only question. Anyone blaming the Canucks failures on Lou is not watching the franchise. That Organization sucks as a whole. Not just one player is the cause. Lou had nothing to do with them not winning in the finals against Boston. Their team melted down and forgot to show up.

he won 12 of them by one goal, and lost 8 of them by 4 goals or more. That sounds mighty consistent.

So even though he's had those "blowout" loses...he still managed to get to game 7 of the cup....still manages to have a .916 save percentage through the playoffs with those blowout losses.

He has more "multiple" success games than "meltdowns" as you suggest.

And again...he plays like shit vs CHI. He won't be playing against them if he came here.

Why does everyone keep talking about Luongo the goalie, and ignoring Luongo, the contract? Who gives a **** if he's a good goalie or not. He's signed FOREVER for a substantial cap hit.
