I'd trade Hjarlmarsson for him, IE Salary Dump. I wouldn't give any "Core" players no question.

I don't think that would be enough.

Luongo's "game on the lines"

2010 playoffs/clinchers -

vs CHI gm 7 - 32shots - 1g - .969%

vs NSH gm 6 - 24shots - 1g - .958%

vs SJ gm 5 - 56shots - 2g - .964%

vs BOS gm 7 - 20shots - 3g - .850%....also had 2 shutouts in the 3 wins in the finals

2009 playoffs/clinchers -

vs LA - 32 shots - 2g - .938%

vs CHI - 35 shots - 5g - .857% (Hawks won cup/were dominant)....elim game before, he had a .967%, 30 shots 1ga

2008 -

Swept STL - 5ga in 161shots .969%

vs CHI....had a bad series (.867%)

2006 playoffs....12gms - 1.77ga .941%

I could look at that for a long time.

As far as Lou coming here...has it really come to this? Crawford may have let in soft goals but look at our team defense, it was pathetic, soft forwards, and somehow softer D-men. The formula for me isn't in the net, Niemi won with basically zero experience, grab a hard nosed two way center, depth on the third line that plays in all situations, and for the love of god a Dman who stays at home and can intimidate and this team is fine.

If Bobby Lou did come here, after I puked violently for 3 days imagining him in the Indianhead, I'd have to gather my thoughts.

BTW, I haven't been on IHN all summer, but Bowman has been P.A.T.H.E.T.I.C.

Rozner was on WSCR this morning. He's a ****** wagon, no doubt. But he's a ****** wagon that's a mouth piece for McD and as such has access to the organization.

Take it for what it's worth, he said there was no way the Hawks were going to make a move on Bobby Lou.

As much of a pile of shit Rozner is, I'll take his word for it.

I don't think that would be enough.

TM just tweeted there is mutual interest between the Hawks and Doan. That is even more interesting than Lou.

Either way I'm not sold on Crawford. Not one bit. He deserves the shot sure, but his goal tending last year, was not good. Poor defense or not.

Goals like the Red line Shot in Nashville that just deflate the team came far to often. which is why often the team appeared to play better in front of Emery, IE they had more confidence in him. That's not good IMO.

Comes with the team. Again I haven't see a game Willie Mitchell pulled that shit with the Kings since he arrived. I didn't see any of that shit with Obrien with the Avs. I tend to think its the Organization who's Owner Cries, GM Cries, Coach Cries, so obviously it's players cries.

I'd take Kessler any day of the week as well.

i don't disagree.

Kessler is the next body moved out of Vancouver. He is starting to show signs of being disgruntled a bit by the system and how the media and fans react. Got thrown to the wolves after last season because he had a below average season. This after nearly ripping his groin and hips off in the playoff run previous. I don't have a dislike towards him as I do other Canucks (ie Burrows and Bieksa). Kessler has played in stretches where when he lays off the hacky shit he really produces and looks good out there. I think he knows this also and probably wants to prove it more as the Canucks system really puts pressure on him to resort to shit tactics. There has never been a question in my mind that coaching is on of the biggest issues with the Canucks..even though the media and fans here would disagree and love the guy..they buy right into his bs. A healthy Kessler as our second line center would make this team a legit contender again more than Lou would in my opinion.

There are really only 2 Canuck players I never want to see in the Hawks jersey. Burrows and Bieksa. I think those 2 guys are and always will have to resort to the cheap shit as a means of producing...which has back fired on both also at the worst times possible.

I don't and never disagreed that Lou needs a new start again somewhere else or back in Florida. No questions he has fell victim to some pretty shitty unwarranted criticism at times which has effected him. There are 2 places I would never want to be a goalie. 1) Vancouver 2) Montreal. Both cities can destroy you.

technically however i still think he is highly over-rated....that's the most important part for me. If he didn't have such a big frame he wouldn't be a top 10 goalie in this league. Yes that can be said about a thwack load of goalies though so I know it's not fair.

its all fun to talk about and disect. I love this shit...its one of my fav parts of being a fan of this sport other than the game on the ice itself. I don't think many of us believe it will ever happen...but yes fun to talk about for sure.

P.S.

I could see Doan here more than anyone else who's names have been rumoured. Would NOT be surprised if it happened one bit and am actually prepared to see it happen. I can also assure everyone without even having any proof that Toews will, would, and has campaigned for it. Guess which Blackhawk player management and ownership would want to please and listen to more than any other? Those two are tight tight tight.

Vancouver radio today said that the nucks were asking for both bolland and hammer for lou. They do not want to deal with the hawks but can not get a decent offer elsewhere. This was from puckdaddy so take for what it is worth, but it will take more than frolik and a bag of pucks

Bolland in Vancouver? Now THAT would be an interesting social studies assignment. He is haaaaaaated here.

yah that's the type of asking price I would expect from Gillis it was never going to be cheap ..however I have no idea why he thinks the Canucks need another roster center who is not a future prospect (is an upgrade over Lapierre though as a 3rd) Hammer makes sense..Bolland really doesn't unless Gillis is afraid of playing against him again. But it's the Canucks..they don't make much sense to begin with.

Oh and obviously that puts a huge hole in a position where there is already a nice gap. Nice try Gillis..you aren't that smart dick wad.

Canucks are going to have a real problem dealing him until they take the asking price down and Gillis stops acting like he is some sort of brilliant mind. Gillis better wake up and realize he has nice cards to play but they aren't the greatest in the current market and hes not going to get both things he wants...adding to his team while subtracting from others. Lou is NOT good enough where he can make up for a hole in an area like center depth. Doesn't help Gillis or the Canucks either when Lou has only given him a few teams to talk to. That's something I never liked but I understand it on the personal life standpoint. However as far as I am concerned though when you are making millions of dollars to play a game you are supposed to love and you have the ability to retire at a very young age...suck it up.

This is going to take a while this one. Lou might also need to help his own cause by expanding his list of teams. I really don't think he is going to get his Florida wish until Gillis lowers the asking price..would have been a done deal by now otherwise.

Like wise. The owners can suck it up too.

If the Hawks get Doan we actual have a playoff hockey team to watch.
