On the contrary, just as many Bulls fans are over-rating Carmelo Anthony, now that we have a chance to get him.

How so? How do you over-rate a top 5 NBA player?

I might be willing to say that Durant is better at scoring, defense, passing, and rebounding... Melo is gifted like maybe no other scorer because of his versatile skills, but Durant is a flat-out beast.

Durant > Melo

and you would really take Melo over Dwight Howard? Be real...

Due to position - not at all...But, Howard is soooooo bad at FT shooting, and can get in foul trouble...I guess that's true w/ a lot of players tho...

Carmelo Anthony is an ignorant sucker puncher whose as smart as a door knob. I have no problem with his intelligence, I just think he's a duechebag. It'll be hard to root for someone like that night in and night out.

EXAMPLE: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKmVM5FyoDo]YouTube - Knicks- Nuggets Brawl.mp4[/ame]

He hits and runs to the locker room? wow..

Boozer and NOAH!? Our front court is set, let's not F*** with it. Noah was leading the league in rebounding behind Howard last season before he got injured. Deng is solid.
We should trade for Rudy Fernandez...

Rose-Fernandez-Deng-Boozer-Noah....with Watson, Korver, Brewer and Gibson? If the chemistry is there we can make it to the Finals. We don't need this clown Melo to win.

I watch these dudes play, I don't worship them. If Anthony was in the running to be the Pope, I might agree with you, but he is one of the best players in the league.

Fernandez? I'm good. Anthony is an allstar while Fernandez couldn't find his way off the bench last year with Portland.

All of these guys are young and make mistakes, we need to stop branding them for what may have happened in the past and let what they do on the court speak for itself. He got into a fight...so what? He's a bad person now?

I don't think the Bulls have enough to beat Miami. If they get Melo, they are neck and neck, if they can somehow get Melo and not trade Noah, they are better than Miami.

Yeah I dont think you can compare Rudy to Melo what so ever.Dont get me wrong its not like I wouldnt want Rudy but thats like comparing a PS3 to a PS1. Like Hou said I think if they get Melo imo they will be behind Miami or close to Miami. If they can keep Noah and get Melo,we will be better than them. But overall I think we would still have to add more or better pieces to our bench, not saying its bad but its something you would have to do each year almost(maybe it depends)

Get Melo, don't give up Noah. That's my own bottom line. They can trade bu cu picks, Taj, Deng.... take it or leave it. Otherwise I'm convinced we will get stuck in the luxury cap with little ways to improve for 3-4 years. Being a Chicago Sports fan, I can be very patient, but I'm not that patient.

Are you kidding me? The video only wants me want Anthony more, if anything. He also choked Sasha Vujacic. But Dennis Rodman was just as bad.

If you want to point fingers at anybody in that video, point it at the dude who fouled Melo, Nate Robinson, Jared Jefferies, and J.R. Smith.

The NBA is soft as hell compared to what it used to be. I like fights. I was jumping up and down for the "Malice at the Palace" in Auburn Hills when I watched it live.

(not saying I support sending Noah away)

I'm good with Melo. I'm not a fan of him. He's probably the player I hate the most in the NBA. And theirs not that many.

Also, I don't think he has the determination to win as some of the guys on the team, Boozer, Rose, Noah.. The best player has to lead by example. He had J.R. Smith, Chauncey Billups, Kenyan Martin, Nene, Kleiza, George Karl, and he still couldn't make it to the finals. He's got the heart of that of a Lebron James.

And lol at the notion that Rudy Fernandez is, in any way, a guy who could substitute for Carmelo Anthony...

In 2009, they practically did make the Finals... they took the Lakers to 6 games... not bad at all.

Melo sucker punched the hell out of Jeffreis and runs to the locker room. He wasn't even involved in the fight but he wanted to get involved, not to help his team but just to punch someone in the face, he's an ignorant dueche. I enjoy a fight once in a while. Rodman was different. Rodman was competitive and would get into fights based on the game. Melo just starts shyt for no reason because of his ignorance.

I'm just saying I don't like Melo. Period. We need a 2, trade for Rudy. Sorry for changing the convo.

Man am I the only one who doesn't want this guy. Get off his jock peeps!
We don't need this clown!

I don't understand why you would hate him. For what? Actually, the most repulsive thing I have seen him do was threaten physical harm on a groupie, even then, he was defending the honor of his wife. As far as his determination, he went against the best team in the league. The Nuggets were an inferior team. All of those players with the exception of Billups are role players. That is not some all time great team. Boozer lost against the same group, yet his determination isn't questioned, but Anthony's is?
