This is the door I had to repair.... from a drunken, psychotic ex.... He came home drunk one night a few days after I dumped him. He hit me, attempted to strangle me, you name it. I ended up running off to a friends house to avoid the possibility of getting hurt in my sleep. Either way, he was overprotective, assumed I slept with all my friends... etc... he was bad news.

The door got damaged when I was merely trying to defend myself from his wrath.

Luckily for me, that a-hole is outta here. The door isn't in the best recovering condition, but it should be ok.... I'll replace the door entirely soon as I keep getting flashbacks from time to time. Either way, its over now and I can recover.... slowly but surely....

Words cannot describe the level of contempt I have for assholes who would do such a thing. I'm sorry you had to go through it.

Very sorry wolf. That kind of stuff is never good, nor the type of person to hang around with. Glad you are ok.

You know wolfie, I dunno if I could be a boyfriend for you. I would for sure do my best to keep the nutter out of your place.

On the serious though, get that door fixed and get the locks reinforced. Sorry you had to deal with that.

I'm very sorry that happened to you, CL.

(disclaimer - I am in NOOOOOO way blaming the victim here)

I just have to ask, was this ex-boyfriend a workout freak, very large/strong guy, or just a flipping psycho? That's some crazy damage and battery to commit over a breakup.

He was just a drunk psycho.... Thank heavens he is far away from here.

I still haven't recovered yet, however... I got a nasty flashback of the incident last night...

I dont have the money to deal with that door, I'm afraid, let alone someone to help replace it. I'm not a repairman.

Maybe the next IHN roadwatch should be at your place and instead of food, we bring a door and some tools
