I'm am not ready to sign Jay at all costs regardless of this next season, but I will say that Jay is the best Bear QB I've watched play for our team, and that goes back to the 60's. I would like to see a Jay and team do a bunch of things better next season, I would like Trestman to surprise the crap out of me with his play calling (for the good), Jay to get rid of the ball quickly, on target, receivers to run the CORRECT routes, blockers to block, and Forte to catch and run all over the field. IF I see that, then the season regardless of the wins and losses will be positive.

Anyone with even mediocre knowledge of the wide receiver position knows that Bennett was better than Knox.

What's funny is that you have no idea how ridiculous that statement makes you sound.

Of course. But a WC offense requires smart decision making and a quick release. Neither are Cutler's strong suit.

Yep. Precisely. He meant more to the team as well. There was a year in there when you had earl bennett hurt for the middle of the season, and the offense was sputtering and struggling to even move the ball up the field. Bennett comes back, suddenly the offense can move the ball again.

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out. This was pre-Marshall however. Brandon put on a clinic.

No surprise to see the fanboys saying Bennett is better than Knox. After all, Knox was their number 1 excuse for cutlers shitness.

It doesn't make him look ridiculous. You look ridiculous trying to make him look ridiculous.

You look ridiculous by saying he looks ridiculous for calling someone, who looks ridiculous, ridiculous.

You look ridiculous for defending someone ridiculous who is trying to look less ridiculous by calling others ridiculous.

5 out of 32 teams started their new QBs last year and all did super. Where is the casino that gives these awesome odds and how the fuck do they stay in business?

Right. Cause thats now an NFL trend and not a QB class that may one day be regarded as the best in history.

The Bears can just count on one of those. Great plan.

No, it's not "easy". But again, you HAVE TO TRY.

Are you honestly suggesting that the Bears should make Cutler qb for life until they have a top 5 pick? Are you saying they should never ever draft a qb after 5 overall? Really?

And what part of keeping Cutler prevents the Bears from drafting a QB? I'm still not seeing that.

I don't know how a Bears fan can give this unconditional support for a QB who just keeps bending over and taking it up the ass from the Packers. Enough is enough already. It's fucking embarrassing.

Unconditional support? You're projecting.

Emery has given Cutler the best talent he has ever had around him, plus he is playing for that big payday, so I would expect a big season from Jay.

never been high on bennet or knox both are average at their very best

For the round that Knox was picked in he ended up being a very good WR. On his own he just wasn't meant to be a #1 guy by anyone in their right mind, besides Angelo. Right now Knox would be the perfect remedy for the offense & what it needs with it's current WR core. Bennett not so much,
