Gibbs is a hell of a RB but would the Lions be better if they took Carter instead of Gibbs and followed up with Achane in the 3rd?

Or maybe Gonzalez and Achane…

My worry was always that they would take Carter and JSN.

Gibbs is a great player but any RB worth a damn would have had success behind that detroit OL, including swift.

Shit, Bears could us a second or third round pick in this year's draft and still come away with a great prospect.

Sorry I'm not sold. I was a bijon fan but I'd pass on AJ in the first 20 picks

Jeanty will be gone before pick 10. If the Bears really want him, they will have to move up. I think he will be a good, not a great back.

Not worth the capital it will take to move far enough up to get him.

Next.

I think most people just assume pick 10 will be OL. It may not be. I have a feeling that Jeanty will definitely be in play for them. Depends on FA and how the board falls. Why? Maybe they value the impact Jeanty could have in this offense more than a G at 10.

Or, maybe they take a guy like Simmons who is a pure LT. Or Nolen. So many interesting paths they can go down. As it is every year, a clearer picture emerges after FA.

14 pages on a guy that will be off the board before the Bears pick. You guys crack me up.

I hope you're right. Any guy going before 10 that isn't a lineman is a good thing for me.

Cowboys would trade up for Jeanty. I would make a deal with the cowpokes.

Seems strange to be that confident that a RB in what most people consider a really deep RB class would go top 10.
Especially when you consider that he is not the same caliber of those "special" or "elite" RB's that have been over drafted recently.

This draft has multiple excellent that will be available beyond round #1. I also think having an elite TE could unlock this offense even more than a top 10 RB would.

Having a below average LT is not an option for any team with championship aspirations, so Braxton Jones must go. One of my biggest issues with Poles is that he literally falls in love with his players as if they are his children. He better find the best OT or DE available at #10 or get a huge return for trading down which is highly unlikely.

Do you know the grade on that trade? For the lazy. Cowboys are 12th and Bears are 10th. If that gets an additional 2nd, I think you gotta do that. I'd rather have 3 2nd's.

But the Bears need a 3 down back. Maybe sign Najee Harris? I know it isn't a big splash signing but the guy gets 1K yds. Or draft a RB later...

It’s roughly a late 3rd in value, which I’d take assuming no premium linemen slipped to 10.
