Fuk Jeanty.

No they didnt. Zeitler was not there when they drafted Gibbs. They had Jackson and Vaitai as the expected starters at G.
Again if Johnson wants a RB, who are you to say otherwise? Do you think he cant figure out the OL without your help?

Didn’t he fire MCCartthy and will hire Shottenheimer? That’s all I need to say.Beg pardon? I didn't know that Jeanty went to University of Arkansas....
Glasgow has never made a pro bowl and Jackson isnt that great. Jones, Wright and Jenkins all have had better metrics than them the last couple years.IT was glasgow and jonah jackson, both who are better than any lineman on the bears.

Glasgow was 3rd this year in most pressures given up at G and 4th last year.
I have no doubt that he would like to upgrade the RB room. I expect they will use FA and a good chance they also draft one.Again if Johnson wants a RB, who are you to say otherwise?
Lol you claiming guys are Pro Bowls level when they have never been to the Pro Bowl and are giving up pressures at an alarming rate.If PFF tells you a player isnt good he isnt good
got it

However I think it will take him less them a minute to see that Gibbs >>>>> Jeanty. I think the question is whether they think they need to use one of the two's or the 3rd or the 5th on a back or then Jeanty.

My mistake.I wasnt talking about taking a RB in the 1st.
This is my fear since .... ( EDIT: Minor fear since it wouldn't be the end of the world, just don't like it. )I said Johnson may take one in the 2nd or 3rd
I fully agree with this.@msadows insist all 4 top picks should be OL/DL.
Disagree............I honestly don't think both the OTs are going to be off the board by 10, but if the two top offensive linemen are gone, Campbell and Banks, that leaves 7 players, now the top two QBs are going probably in the top three that leaves 5 players before the Bears pick.If the top rated O limemen are off the board at 10 and a trade down isn't possible, Jeanty may be the best available pick
There will be good O linemen in the second round. So it really
depends on free agency and the way the draft unfolds.
No one has a crystal ball, but let’s say I am confident one of the early picks will be a rb.I doubt it but you seem like you are willing to bet your life savings on it. I think there is a better chance they use a 2nd and that 3rd to trade back into the late first and take another good player.
MY guess is they go for a cheaper backup RB in FA like warren or javonte.
Hard pass.........Williams has never been the same since tearing his ACL/MCL.NFL.com predicts that the bears get Javonte Williams to be that bruiser back.
My mistake.

If they take a guy like Simmons in the first and a guy like Neal in the 3rd or 4th, fine.
The Bears have one of the worst rb rooms in the league. Johnson has shown he values good RBs. You are predicting he won’t take a rb in a draft that has a lot of rb talent. I disagree. I think he will, and I think it will be relatively early.
And if they go DL or DE at 10, I get it. There is some insane talent at those positions.I would argue that you have this backward. A rising OL lifts all RB's.
In addition, improving the OL ( Properly ) also helps the passing game. Two Packers one bullet.
I don't think people are viewing it as an either or. The top end of this RB class is not worth a first round pick. Also the gap between the top of this deep RB class and who they could get with their 3rd or fifth round pick is not wide enough to over spend on.
It's the lines stupid. Both OL and DL. ( not directed at you, just making a joking reference to Clinton here)
No, it is based off of years of this team having a subpar running back corps. Fields masked those deficiencies.lol. this all based off one season where no RB in the NFL would have had success behind t hat OL?
