I have always said that its more on the receivers than the QB.. We saw yesterday what happens when your receivers can't get open..

I feel like Wentz is another Foles experiment but with a larger sample size to judge him off of. Both of them the Bears had to assume could revert back to form of a previous time. Foles you had to hope he would revert to a short run of games in the super bowl run season and Wentz you have to hope he reverts back to the average of the 3 decent years prior to last year. I wouldn't give up much of anything for either of them in terms of draft capital because its still a big bet and I'm not positive the Bears can revert any QB back to form given their track record.

you know Pace will not be outbid.
he is fighting for his job and feels Wentz is the most realistic chance to accomplish this.

I love how some actually think J.Hurts played well in his limited games started last year. He wasn't that good. His legs looked good on a few plays and he made a couple nice throws but he didn't play well enough to say he's a franchise QB in the NFL yet.
