Bears are the top offer for Wentz?

if not wentz, then what qb gives them the best shot? winston?

no way they hitch their jobs on a rookie

Derek Carr? Sounds like it would take at least 2 1sts ughhhh.

Id rather trade up Wilson or Fields but I know it’s not a guarantee they could and Pace/Nagy are on save their jobs agenda.

Fitzpatrick and a rook? Dolphins 2020 route?

Serious question... if the Bears drafted a QB and he looked lets just say like Herbert but they went 5-12 next year would Pace and Nagy get fired?

I dont see them depending on Fitzpatrick who is up and down and has been his entire career. Tyrod Taylor?

2017-2019 Wentz is their best shot. hope hes closer to that than 2020

Yeah i still have trading up as my top option as well especially with Houston doubling down on how they aren't trading D.Watson.

If they trade for Wentz
They are presumably giving up #20
Which means drafting two immediate starting tackles is unkikely
I'd expect the try and sign on in fa and draft one in round 2/3

Not sure how the Wentz contract affects their ability to sign/tag arob but they may also need to sign a corey Davis type and draft a wr in round 2/3

Would think there is a reasonable chance.
Look how poorly Mahomes played last night, this happened to Wentz every game this year.
He was sacked 4 1/2 times per game on average and didn't have anything resembling the KC supporting cast.

The Eagles were bad and injured all over. We thought our line played bad?

My point was drafting a QB instead of giving up stock for a retread POS.

Jewels to get a case of Squirt
The second that management decided to keep Pace something like this was the obvious outcome.

If they give a first rounder plus players and get no draft capital back, well, they have no one to blame but themselves.

No matter what they do....it will be wrong. They have over 60 years of bad QB decisions to overcome. What in the world would make anyone think these two boneheads will be the ones to get it right?

i know what you meant. but my point is that drafted qbs need time, time that the gm and coach dont have
Thats why I said if they drafted a QB and he performed like Herbert or a good rookie would it buy them another year even if they didn't win a lot of games. Or would it be like the Chargers where they still moved on to Staley.

isn’t this the same guy who admitted he was trolling? talk about a way to ruin your career.
I dont think he ever said that. What is his career? If it's sports reporting, then he wouldn't say that. If it's anything else, then that would have no affect on his career.

add in Lurie's involvement forcing the Wentz benching which according to Philly fans Peterson didnt want to do
and you get a colossal shit show of epic proportions.

If anyone follows horse racing, the 2020 Wentz year would be a throw out race.

Wentz cant stay healthy. Best ability is availability and he doesn't have that.

Nagy would get all the credit as an offensive HC and throw Desai under the bus of course. Lynn had the opposite problem. He’s a defensive HC who’s defense vastly underperformed with good talent.
