I agree...the Bears have to overpay if they want to win this. Fair? Life. Fair is the price they take.

Removing him from the NFC is probably bigger than what Wentz wants, but player respect usually has a small value if other factors are equal, giving the team the sense that they take care of their own. Wentz may have violated that potential consideration though. They don't have to re-unite him with Reich and won't if a first or second rounder is at stake. Its more about only ever seeing him again 2-3 times in your tenure during the regular season with low chance to ever cross paths in a superbowl.

Honestly this does just sound like roseman posturing some more. I'm sure wentz would prefer indy, but he also wants out of Philly badly and I don't think he is going to limit himself or alienate a team he could end up with.
