Probably stems from a heavy influx of German immigrants that are appalled by the idea of putting tomato sauce on a sausage.

But this is America and you should have the right to eat how you please. So if you want to put ketchup on your dog like a ****ing five year old, I promise not to shame you while you cut the dog into little bite sized pieces and eat it with a fork with some Kraft Mac & Cheese on the side.
Had to circle back to this. Your insults not only cut deep, but also made me hungry.

Baldinger keeping it honest.
  • Center position is going to be a problem. Offensive line is only as strong as it's center
  • Don't expect much from Booker this season because most teams in the Big 12.basically play the same defense
  • Kiran Amegadje has an NFL body but didn't help himself by playing against IVY League competition. He is going to have a big adjustment in the NFL; might need to move inside
  • Interior line needs to play together and you need consistency there to be good. Jenkins could be a fixture but needs to play to do that
  • Defensive linemen make biggest jump between 1st and 2nd seasons. Hard to find good 3 technique guys
  • Two games a year are decided by special teams. Punter might help that.

Good stuff.

I still worry about the interior OL. Hopefully these fears are made false this year, but A gap pressure is going to be a lot for this team to handle.

Which means quick outs and screens, and outside runs when we need to change pace. A lot like the win against Minnesota last year. Hopefully not 20+ screens, but who the hell knows anymore

No OTA news and I was reading that hard knocks is there.

Maybe that's why they're being quiet about OTAs?
Link? I don’t think HK is present for OTAs, just TC.

There’s usually no news when media isn’t present. But the bears usually would have some highlights.

I still have huge concerns about the whole OL. Center is a huge question mark at this time. Perhaps Bates will surprise. We need both tackles and the RG to play much better this year. No doubt in my mind that the OL is the weal link on the team now and that is scary with a rookie QB.

Chili, cheese, relish, kraut, sautéed veggies, picked veggies. You can put so many delicious things on a dog that are better than ketchup. Even sides like Mac and cheese or potato salad are good on dogs.

I don’t put ketchup on dogs but I always thought food gatekeeping was the oddest thing. Everyone has taste preferences.
Local dog spot up here in Lake County used to do an awesome Bacon/grilled onions/cheddar dog. RIP Scooters.

Imagine crying over the media not liking a terrible team, but now liking them with a drastically improved roster
Seriously. Team that is always bad doesn’t get media love. SHOCKING! It’s almost as if you have to earn nice things being said about you and not just exist.

DL is the weak link of the team followed by OL. Poles has built through the trenches

The media will have access to OTAs on Thursday.

Media access is one workout per week through the three week session. Media will be there for 3 sessions of 9.

It's been this way for years.

Some people will be worried about the offensive line no matter what happens.

The Bears have a good to great right guard in Teven Jenkins, probably a great right tackle an average right guard and an average left tackle.

We don't know what they have at center but having 4 of 5 starting positions locked up is pretty good.

The constant state of worry with the offensive line just gets old.

Whos at LG with two RG? Both G have extensive injury histories. They had the same 4 stalwarts in place last year and were a bottom half of the league OL even if you attribute much of their struggles to fields holding the ball.

I think the group will be better this year due to multiple factors but the G's injury history and the unknown at C is a pretty big concern.

The team does have a stud on the DL that the other team has to game plan for. The same cannot be said for the OL. I do agree though that the DL could use another good DE and another serviceable DT like Jones was last year. I am concerned for CW with the OL as it sits now.
