BJ is a run first coach, we cant run the ball with this OL on a regular basis outside of a few chunk plays from swift.

It would still look bad, prob not as bad as this, but you'd also expect the defense to have taken a bit of a fall too without flus.

Overall team would still be about the same record. Will he be a better HC than flus? Sure, but thats not saying much.

Swift ran for less than 70 yards combined in the first 3 games. After that abysmal start, he’s ran for 386 yards in the last four with a rushing TD in each of those games. Should have been more if Waldron wasn’t a bed wetter. Are you sure the Bears can’t run the ball?

Against terrible defenses. The cummanders were bottom 5 in YPC for RB's.

Yes, they still cant run the ball. Take away the two big runs and swifts day looks pedestrian. This OL is bad, BJ wasnt going to magically make them not suck.

I forgot who I was talking with, I should have used my crayons and drew you a picture.
The lions are a very good football team. This doesn’t mean you actually know anything, nor do I care to read a single paragraph of your meaningless blubberings.

You have 0 bearing on the lions organization.

On the bright side... after having an average of 1.54 YPC after 3 games, Swift now has a respectable 4.17 average after 7 games.

Over the last 4 games, Swift has averaged over 5.3 YPC for 3 of the 4 games (over 90 yards in those 3 games). His average is 5.36 YPC during that stretch.

I posted the above quote yesterday. It's definitely turned around.

And you know this how? Should probably wait until they play a good defense before declaring they can’t run the ball. They’ve been running extremely well and should actually be doing it more. Good RBs tend to get big runs/chunk plays. Why would we take them away?

Because when they faced actual good front 7's they looked like shit.

The teams they faced the last 3 weeks were all terrible in EPA per play.

The lions offense works because they have a reliable and consistent run game dependent on their dominant OL. Bears bottom 10 OL is not running BJ's scheme.

It would look better than it has thus far but not much better, he isnt turning guys like nate davis into reliable players.

If only gayleb and swifty could play the worst NFL defenses every week like the panthers and jags then they would be all pros

Swifty aint bad but the problem with this team and offense is still OL.

No OC is fixing the issues the GM caused on the OL

That would be a disaster. Then you wouldn't have anything to troll, rant, and have meltdowns about!

Here's the thing, folks, there are back channel things going on if you read between the tea leaves and stand on business, the Bears are going to do something and it works like this, take it from me - chief systems engineer who makes 136k/year, and anyone who disagrees with me is pure EVIL and will be civil warred upon 😉 😀 😄 😜
Posting how affluent we are, is that back in? Eggpants is that you reborn? That said, that number is relative depending on what part of the country you live in. In the south that would go quite far.

Suddenly you're an expert on a team you swore would regress and only win 8 games? This is priceless. Did you mean that "no depth" O-LINE?

imagine being Poles and hanging on to lame duck Flus one more year instead of taking the up and coming hot name OC for his new QB

this fucking organization, man
I really hope this isn't true, and they badly need to go hard after him this year. I'm also putting it out there that if they can't get Ben Johnson, I'm still on the Daboll train if he gets the boot from New York.

Please Bears, fire Flus.

I'm not going to search for the post, but I wanted the Bears to go hard after Vrabel and bring him in with Derek Henry as a team. Those two did not want to break apart so would have been easier to accomplish. Of course many here told me Derek Henry was done hahahaha.

And he probably went to one of the two teams that was a perfect fit for him

Unless he was overruled, I am out on a HC that looked at Daniel Jones and decided he was worth 40 million. Bears at least had the sense to move on from their mediocre QB. 82 million in cap space wasted assuming they move on after this year.
