If all three of these guys came to Chicago this entire board would have creamed.

Ripping Miami for pulling off what any team in their right mind would want to do smacks of sour grapes.

Well to be fair, I'm sure the 29 other teams were sour grapes. Now that I see what they're going to do to us for years unless we can get more help for Rose, why shouldn't I be sour grapes? Like you said, planned years ahead, and they picked Maimi probably for better weather and clubbing. The only way to overcome the jealousy was to beat them, and right now, it's clear we can't without some better players.

I'm sorry, but Derrick Rose is overrated. His team had multiple chances to win a must-win. The MVP stunk it up even worse than Durant did.

I'd take Lebron to the Bulls in a second. Why?

They picked Miami because they had the money to do it. Riley did a hell of a sell job. Riley started moving money around for this move in 2008...kept working all the way to the last minute to free up the money. Awesome job.

I'm just tired of the Lebitch stuff etc. Guy is a hell of aplayer and all this hate for those three is Special person. If they are here they are "selfless players and all about giving it up for the good of the team to win championships".

Go to a city other than Chicago? "Selfish and bitches" blah blah blah.

I choose to hate him the same reason spike lee hated mj...he's not on his team. fine. yeah, we'd be damn-near unstoppable if we got him....but we didn't...he took less money than boozer if I'm not mistaken.....to play w/ 2 other all-stars...b/c he couldn't do it alone. right or wrong, that's what i'm sticking with.

Regardless of all of that, we're a slightly above avg sg from being just as tough as they are.

I agree. Riley did a heck of a job, sacrificing those seasons for this. I'd give him the credit, but I think Wade probably told him to. It's a no brainer if you know those 3 are going to come to your team. We could've done the same, but we didn't. We only needed 2 of the 3 to be in their position. They all wanted to play together and there's nothing we could've possibly done about it. Good for them for getting what they want.

Exactly. Boozer hasn't exactly been the all star we wanted him to be. The trend has been made for years, you need multiple all stars to win and we only have 1. Unless Rose just magically becomes more clutch (and I really hope he does), we need another guy who can close out games. Miami has 3 and a bunch of spot up shooters. That's why they won down the stretch while we turn the ball over like 5 times.

you're comparing going to a team w/ Wade and Bosh (two all-star starters) to a team with Rose, Deng, Gibson and Noah? A group that consisted of one all-star appearance (as a reserve) among them? Remember, at the beginning of this season, Rose was considered about the 5th-6th best PG in the game.
