Can anyone honestly look at the rosters of the 4 Championship teams that competed to be in the Super Bowl, and think we're only a Caleb Williams away?

Yes....it was me that derailed this thread. Only people believe that are wearing blinders. Take yours off. If the lords of your universe give you permission.

I'm not taking anything off ya sicko. I will keep all of my clothes on, thanks. You're walking a fine line TBD. I suggest you drop the trolling and do a mock draft or something.

Wait wait wait. Fields isn't good enough to be a Bear but he is good enough to trade for a minihaul?

God....joining cults is not a good thing. Rarely ends well.
I would say if you read what I have said in the past is Fields is in a system that does not fit his strengths, which he still is. Not that he is a bad QB.

Fields is frustrating..........His highs, his wow plays are fantastic. His lows though are bottom of the league bad. I think there are a number of teams out that are ready to actually build an offense around Fields that will try to maximize his strengths outside the pocket and minimize his main weakness structured on time plays. I feel the Bears are just not one of those teams.

Because I really want to get the pulse on this.

This isn't about Caleb Williams vs Justin Fields, so if you want to turn it into one of those threads, **** you.

Just objectively tell me, in your opinion, do you really think all this roster is missing is Caleb Williams and off we go to the Super Bowl?

Because that's how a lot of you guys are talking, and when I compare the Bears' roster to the 49ers, Lions, Chiefs and Ravens and shit, even the Packers, the Bears still have some significant holes.

And the reason I even bring this up, is because I suspect the same people who will say "well, even with Williams, of course the Bears have holes that need to be filled before we can compete for a Super Bowl) were some of the same people looking at CJ Stroud and using him as justification for drafting Williams, because somehow a magical QB can just carry people to Super Bowls, even though CJ Stroud did NOT do that for his team, and got absolutely SMOKED when playing a legit team in the Ravens.

So which is it? Pick a lane.

Because those of us who want the haul, see an opportunity to close a 2-3 year talent gap in a single draft with the picks and players we'd be getting back, plus see a San Fransisco team that almost won a Super Bowl with a QB who wasn't exactly God's gift to quarterbacking.
And even still Caleb has a myriad of holes in his game which even with proper coaching will take a season or two to iron out. Which he won't get from this coaching if/when they struggle and get sacked.

You don't need "a" before "myriad". It's grammatically incorrect and one of my pet peeves. Sorry to be a pain and have a nice day!

Thanks for the video...........it was not just a highlight reel. It showed both Williams strengths and weaknesses. Every top prospect has them. What I liked the most was Williams in the pocket. Williams searching for the big play...............not so much.

Depends on if it's used as an adjective or noun. When used as noun then it is acceptable to use an a before said word and follow it with from.

"A Myriad Of' or Just 'Myriad'?

Some say "myriad" is only an adjective and not a noun, which means you can't use "a myriad of." They're wrong, but professional editors often prefer the adjective form."

This is a very well thought out and good point. Caleb is going to bring the bigger mega haul vs the Fields mini haul, therefore we must draft Caleb. The haul has determined their value and how the Bears should handle this. I'm glad we got this settled.
