Bears currently don't have any great pass rushers and an old Grady Jarett but the bears should totally go and get a 2nd TE to pair with Kmet / DJ / Rome because in Detroit they used 2 TE's a lot.

Christ. I'd be less upset if they drafted Jeanty than this idiotic idea

How would you know when you only joined in 2025? Also, his name is @ILoveDick I think, hard to say since he basically made a ban bet considering he hasn't posted since this truly embarrassing name change.
I'm aware he's now, deservedly, ILoveDick but I answered the question in kind. He didn't ask what his current handle is. He asked about before BlackRainbow,

I've been reading Bear boards since the CBMB days so yah, I know most everyone..

Your's seemed an odd retort but with a name like SugarWalls, I can understand your infatuation with, err, members.

I'm still waiting for who said that we SHOULD draft a TE at 10. I said the opposite and if you don't like what else there, trade down instead of these guys at 10. It's a fricking message board that's low on topics right now. I welcome the discussion even if some posters happen to be on the rag and feel the need to burn down strawmen.

lol I’ll like him if he becomes the best player at his position in the league! I think any fan can say this about almost any position. If he sucks, I’ll be pissed! Thank you Captain Obvious.
My point was, I’d rather the GM take the player they think will be best, rather than taking a player cause he’s the best prospect at a position of need. I didn’t think I needed to spell that out.

OMG someone has a different opinion than me they are acting like a woman on her period!

Learn to deal with simple disagreements, grow up.

If all posters agreed with everything everyone said there would be 0 conversations.

Simple is right. It was a direct off topic challenge. Don't ask if you don't want an answer. Now go hide behind some more false pretense. I'll stop this crap that you started and move on as soon as you do. You're chasing 2 windmills here. I don't know how much is shared but at least some Mods know exactly who I am.

X Man, when you have capable backups, good teams are constantly rotating in their pass rushers. ‘Backups” don’t sit on the bench.

Picking an Edge they identify as worth the spot is definitely worth it.

@Xplosive has advocated for drafting TE Warren at pick 10. Sorry you are oblivious to things that go on around you and are not just what is immediately in front of your eyes.

You are the one with false pretense.

He's been open to the possibility and not advocating but he can speak for himself.

Petty.. Maybe read the 1st post again and you'll see why it's being discussed. LOL at starting something and claiming the high ground. You can shove that right back up there.

Yes I simply pointed out that your account was created in 2025 yet you are aware of things that happened years ago. A simple innocent observation lmao

In reality, I have said that Warren is an OPTION at #10. I also like Mykel Williams, KBJ, & Memou. What I argue against are people that claim that TE is NOT an option or that Warren would be a horrible pick. I posted the mock draft selections from CBS and ESPN as evidence that I'm not the only person who thinks it would be a solid choice.

Although I like M. Williams over Shemar Stewart, I still go back to the idea that the Bears have an offensive HC and have invested heavily into Dayo and Sweat. The #10 pick would be going to a player that will in all likelihood be getting a lot less reps than a typical #10 pick. The Bears also already have Austin Booker whom they gave up an extra draft pick to acquire. He showed a lot of promise last year and does fit the height and length prototype of a player Dennis Allen will use @ 6'4" and 33 and 7/8" arms.

He has had a full year to put on at least 20lbs to the 240 he was drafted at. I don't see them giving up on him as a developmental player. So taking a DE at #10 is always an option but I wouldn't bet on it being the first pick of Ben Johnson's coaching career.

If that’s who poles and BJ think is the best player available, I’ll take their word for it. It’s what they were hired to do. That’s why I don’t really complain about draft selections until they suck on the field
