Jewels to get a case of Squirt
@BaBaBlacksheep is the power outage issue largely that the Texas power infrastructure isn't built for these kinda temps? Snow? Ice? Wind? All of the above?

Perhaps I've just been lucky, but I only ever seem to get power outages during Summer, never had it during Winter.
Good article on it:

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
You guys ever mix peanuts and candy corn? Tastes like a Payday. Pretty legit.

Handbrake is cool yo.
It's fun as fuck to toss the car into corners.
I couldn't drink a beer though, my hands were too busy.

Why didn't anybody shut the water off and drain the system? No busted pipes.

my sister (from Chicago) in Dallas and a department-mate who decamped to Austin from Chicago all know to do that and their pipes still burst. They just don't build shit right down there

I am assuming neither of them did the trickle.

20 degrees doesn't burst pipes typically. I live in ABQ and when it gets close to zero they always are on the news about letting your faucets trickle a bit. but 20 is very borderline. Perhaps all their houses were built in 2007.

I also lived in ABQ. My sister did the trickle, not sure about my teammate (I recommended it; he had just moved here from georgia). Either way, they burst for both of them
