I think Guzman will make 400K-420K next year.

MINOR LEAGUE contract. (just clarifying that he won't count on payroll)

I know. I think a minor league contract is 400K-420K. Howry just barely got a major league contract and he made 450K-480K.

Ya, ik, just saying that it really doesn't matter how much he makes as its affect will be minimal.

So..if we come away w/ Ty Wigginton, Orlando Cabrera (move Starlin to 2nd), and 1-2 solid middle relief options, I'll call this off-season a victory.

Probably not...but I got soooo tired of watching him throw the ball to he damn tarp...

He was 20 and a rookie. Calm down. He will improve big time. He's playing Winter ball. He'll be fine.

I don't care how old he was and what year he was into last season...he missed the 1B too often. I <3 his offensive production...but I don't think moving him to 2nd in favor of a sure-handed (sure-throwing) SS would be a terrible move.
