funny how you posted a pic of B and B, a few posts up i mentioned that.

I didn't even see your post, I just quoted Obvious from the first page. You know what they say, great minds think alike. Or great minds think for themselves, and in that way they are alike. Something like that.

The Cubs add Robinson Chirinos to the 40 man roster and outrighted James Adduci to Triple A. The 40 man roster now stands at 37, but Grabow and Guzman will be activated from the 60 say DL. That means that 40 man roster will be at 39, then Nady will leave and the roster 40 man roster will be at 38 5 days after the world series.

Pat Listach said he would love to have Dunn next year. He played with Dunn in Wash and this topic will be talked about at the meetings this week. Pat will be their. I'm not saying anything about Dunn in Cubbie blue, but just passing on information.

cubs.com mention Geo, Marmol, and Marshall, then said the Cubs want to keep Gorz and Baker. Guess who wasn't mentioned of that list?

They also think Kosuke has the most trade value in the OF. Confusing, but maybe they meant because trading Byrd would make us worse.

And cubs.com says it will b slightly lower than the Opening Day payroll, not the end of season payroll.

So we've got 'some' wiggle room..

I'd really like us to shore up the team by being creative..

I hope A-Ram just forgets to pick it up and then we have more money and flexibility. I might be speaking out of my ass right now, but that'll be fixed soon.

Pretty sure he already stated that he is going to pick it up..

Earliest he's out with a bad record is at the the deadline.

Ya, but he's down to about 2 days, 4 hours, and 27 minutes to pick it up. :)
