I think he's very knowledgeable about what he sees as the future of Hockey - very little hitting, no fights, puck-possession style of play with no violence, very little contact, and interesting stuff like that.

I don't understand his meatballish hatred for a coach that has 2 cup rings in 5 years, soon to be 3 cup rings in 6. Seems strange winningness isn't as important as having perfect line combos at all times.

Are you talking about Pez? Maybe Variable?

I put them both on ignore just for DMelt... so just checkin.

Buffoonery? or balls? He has big balls IMO. Takes big balls to take big risks.
You may not like it or agree with it, but that's why you're not behind the bench and leading this team to the Stanley cup 3 times in 6 years.
He gets the job done. He knows what needs to be done to motivate this team and he did it.
You think Hawks are in this position if they are coached by Capuano? Get the hell out of here haters.

Buffoonnery. He did the same thing last year multiple times and got majorly burned by it--sticking with "his players" instead of the guys who were outplaying them, and it ended up costing them the playoffs.

This year, thankfully, he only did it once and went back to what was working--and even getting rid of a geriatric liability in the process.

That is not a bad thing. No coach is infallible otherwise Scotty Bowman would never have lost a single game.

Besides, I'm under no delusions that when it comes to hockey decisions I'm nothing more than air conditioner ballast like the rest of us here. I will call anyone out if they make a bad move--and Q did. He messed with a lineup that won the game only to have it backfire in his face. It was a dumb move but he corrected it--there's no shame in that.

If he is this angry about a winning team he is a fan of, imagine how irate he must get about the Sox or whatever other team he likes to complain about.

I'm beginning to think Pez is an idiot. Can anyone confirm this?

The guy that answered Brandon Bolling as the guy he would bring back from the 2010 Hawks is beginning to think I'm an idiot?

I haven't done it yet, because I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt to follow the rules.
