So why would an offensive coach want to go there for one good DE?

Their defense had less sacks, less pressures, and gave up more points than the bears shit defense.

That offense lacks talent all over it outside of brock bowers. Meyers is a good #2 but they need help everywhere.

Only way i see BJ go there is if davis throws an unreal amount of money at him, which can happen. But at that point why wouldnt he take the cowboys? Jerry would prob pay him anything he wants too .
The word is the owner is stepping back, and Brady is taking over with football decisions. he also has the opportunity to give input on the GM, the Raiders OL, while not great is young and improving. He would have draft capital and a decent amount of cap. (100 mil). he could plug in maybe a Darnold or Cousins while building the trenches, It's also a smaller market, something he seems to prefer. And then there is the weather ..........

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
why do the Raiders even want Johnson this bad? They have no talent right now, he isn’t what they need. They need to build from scratch and need a guy to hold the team together while they do it. They aren’t at the maximizing Xs and Os stage yet.
You're right... they actually do need a culture guy who can take the lumps while they rebuild. Unless a great coach can make magic happen, it's too hard to take the lumps of multiple losing seasons and not have the media... and eventually ownership/players turn on you.

Yea, if ben johnson is wanting to coach cousins or darnold over caleb/jayden daniels/trevor then he clearly isnt that smart.

Money does matter, its the only reason i see him taking the job. JAX has no taxes either, and can offer all that with a qb that has much more talent than AOC and the guys you listed. Also likely a better team.

Goff says hi. You know, the Qb you said the Lions would never win a SB with, the guy you call jared Goofy?

About?

I've noted multiple times goff wasnt some hot turd when he went to the lions. He was an above average qb who at times was very good. He threw for 4700 yards and 32 tds as a 3rd year player.

Bears fans just think he's dogshit cause the only times they watched him on the rams was when he played the bears.

Here comes Jerry Jones, you know who he is going to want already. This is hopeless.

No, that's not true, you just have been changing your narrative lately about him. I can bring up any number of your old posts where you called him trash.

And for the recored, Aaron Glenn is right out of the Dan Campbell mold as a motivator. he will make an excellent HC.

He was regressing yearly. He still plays poorly when pressured. When you give him time he is a good qb.

The lions are a great situation for him with that OL. He would not be the same type of player running for his life behind an OL like the bears.

As much as I don't hate him like others, I really wished he just stayed with Dallas and not muddy the waters.

He's much safer than any of the OC options and you'd at least know he would develop caleb

Like 50 people have wasted their time interviewing, so yea, what do you want? An Alan Williams FBI raid of HC’s storming the facility?
Well, you’re saying that whoever the Bears decide to hire from this overwhelming list will be the new head coach?

That includes Vrabel (who chose the Patriots)?
