Who loves to make big splashes. He will drop the $$$ for his BJ. 😂

And so will other teams.

The cowboys are effed with the cap, either they pay micah and have 50% of the cap invested in 3 guys or let him walk.

the only thing that I am worried about with Jerry Jones entering the picture is that it makes McCarthy available. He has been good as a HC, just seems not right for the Bears. Now my top choice is Ben Johnson, but he goes elsewhere so be it. J Brady, M Freeman, and a few others still make intriguing candidates.

Gross. A Superbowl winning coach whose offense is consistently at the top of the league.

What's wrong with you people?

Its because he doesnt win in the playoffs, but a large chunk of that blame should go on aaron rodgers and dak prescott.

He's much safer than any of the OC options and you'd at least know he would develop caleb
Yup, that's my thought and why I'm ok with him... but I think Dallas is legitimately a contender to be a better option than the Bears. Some will argue Jerry is a negative, but the team is consistently trying to win and matters. Some coaches will certainly prefer to be there... which means we can lose our first choice.

They are a better option, but their cap situation is absolutely awful as i mentioned. They basically have to let micah walk or are going to have to have a roster that is poor in many other areas. Paying 50% of your cap to 3 starters aint a sustainable way to win unless you get absolutely lucky as hell in the draft and hit on every player.

Im guessing jerry could scare people off too. He loves to meddle.

He was blessed to have Favre and Rogers. What has he done with Dallas?

We could do a lot worse than McCarthy. We know what he is and that makes it less exciting but I can guarantee you all these coordinators have weaknesses as well.

He will get the offense corrected, he will hire a quality staff. The top worry for me can he still innovate or is he stuck in the past?

Goff was a throw in with zero expectations.
No he wasn't. Lions general manager Brad Holmes said after the 2022 season, “I never really deemed him as a bridge, I think everybody else did,” He was the lesser part of the deal but was drafted #1 for a reason. Point was obviously that implying Johnson had nothing to work with or thinks innate skills superfluous is silly.

I’m down for MM if Bears can’t get BJ. One catch though, he’s got to lose 30 lbs for his resurrection. He can Andy Reid the shit out of this but he’s got to get his health in check.

If Caleb Williams is the future star that people believe he is, shouldn’t HC candidates be knocking down the Bears door to be hired?
Has any of the 20+ candidates they asked to interview said no? Well then they're all interested.

Greg Gabriel got in a fight with Patriots fans on twitter yesterday if anyone wants some entertainment

Tweeted that Vrabel was going to bring Rees for OC
Rees is absolute trash as an OC. Even with Saban’s tutelage, he still hasn’t figured it out

Only Bear fans would be ok with a twice fired HC but question someone like Hardbaugh.

The bar has been set sow low by ownership.

FWIW, I'm ready not to land BJ because they keep interviewing coordinators that everyone knows are not getting the job.
