Can somebody tell me what in the name of the diversity, the equity and the inclusion a Football Analytics Director actually really does?
The DEI person finds racism anywhere it could exist and the analytics director spends a lot of money to essentially tell coaches to go for it on 4th down.

Baalke's got a career winning percentage of 45.8% (82-97). Poles has a career winning percentage of 29.4% (15-36). They both suck but Poles has been significantly worse record wise.
Context matters. Poles had to completely gut the roster and shed overpriced contracts. He’s had his issues, but I suppose everyone does.

I have buddies who are 9ers fans so they follow that team closely. He had a much better organizational structure in place. He is 10 times worse than Poles has been. Which is why the Jags owner is willing to fire his ass if a coach he wants makes that demand. Most people I talk to can’t believe he got a 2nd shot with how bad of a GM he’s been.

It’s all fun and games when the media is laughing at the Bears, but eventually reality will sink in and that comes from losing.

It’s a fine line between being the hottest candidate in years to being a John Schoop disciple who passed on Daniels and Williams to coach some bum.

I can already hear Orlovsky calling him arrogant and foolish all because he wanted control.
I hope you were kidding with the John Shoop comment. I don't have enough things left in my tv room to break if John Shoop II is the choice.

Yeah, this Brady shit is getting annoying. Especially since dipshit Mark Davis still runs the show in LV.

Does he still run the show? I mean the guy is worth billions and still gets a bowl cut.

Personally if Ian Cunningham gets hired I'd love him as assistant GM.

Doubt he'd want that.

Fire kevin warren or rename him to "worthless stadium guy" and let Greg be president of football ops.
Greg Olson literally has the most aesthetic jawline in the entirety of the people within the inside of the whole entire NFL and surprisingily also as well he has a decently brilliant football mind he literally knows ball and can communicate ball knowledge and insight better then the best of them and that includes Tom Brady whomst took job in the broadcastinger's boothe and has been a miserable failure in that regarde. I would if I could which I can't but if it were so I would hire him in a literal heart-beat to be a part of the rebuilding of the coaching or even the front office!

At that time, they hadn't drafted Daniels yet. Johnson wants to have a good QB. I think he might have taken the Washington job if it were open now after the year Daniels had, but obviously that isn't happening.

The Bears already have Williams. They have a ton of pieces on offense that can easily play in Ben's offense on a one to one basis:

Caleb - Goff
25 Swift - 23 Swift (Or Gibbs if you will)
DJ Moore - St Brown
Kmet - La Porta
Odunze - Williams

They just need to rebuild the line and they are off to the races.
Jebus Mahn, they had the 2nd pick in the fricking draft and were obviously taking a QB. He not only would have had a QB, he'd have had a choice between 5 top 10 worthy QBs. In another draft Nix goes top 10.

Wonderful insight here. Did you learn this at the Brett Daniel Solesky School for Gifted Fatsos?
$18M a year may also have him reconsider for a bit and/or the Raiders could sign Wilson.

That's my point.

He doesn't want a project and to roll the dice on a quarterback.

He wants the quarterback to be a known quantity, or at least to know enough about them to know what their floor is and that there's a lot of room to grow.

He passed on the commanders last year so that tells you what high standards he has.
