You’re right I don’t watch espn unless games are on and I’m proud to admit that.

I'm with ya' there; only when there's a Bears game on. I used to prefer the NFL Network over ESPN because frankly I never cared about news about baseball, hockey, curling, etc. Nothing wrong with those sports; I just had less interest in them. But when the NFL Network came along and they had prime Brian Urlacher on, I was elated.

Nowadays, perhaps due to perpetual team ineptitude, perhaps due to my becoming a Dad later than most people, I don't even watch the NFL Network unless there's a Bears game on. I admit though if they were good I would probably watch a lot more, just to enjoy listening to people talk about how good they are (they are a long way from that, it would seem).

the same way Bears fans (& the media) watch the Bears games while saying “uh guys this offense isn’t any good” and then by Tuesday they are back on the Generational Train, so too do Bears fans forget their offseason hype fests. Imagine saying the Bears would finish with three fewer PPG on offense in 2024 as 2023. You would’ve been flamed relentlessly, but now that that’s what has happened its all “oh well yeah I saw that coming its acceptable ROOKIE struggles you know”

Would you relax? I have never seen Dan orlovsky hyping up the Bears off season footage. I said what I said I don’t watch the shit.
