Yes you counter argued against something that had nothing to do with my point..

My point again was Monken has been the OC for multiple different QBs that have completely different skillsets. BJ has not. Considering CW has a completely different skillset compared to Goff, BJ ability to adapt to a different QBs skillset is an unknow.. so that makes him a bit more of a risk.

So what does "Monken had talented QBs" have to do with that? absolutely nothing, its just more vortex strawman nonsense

You have already said you are letting the NFL do the thinking for you so why are you even vortexing about this anyway?
Your points may be valid but the hire has been made.

In the words of Ferris Bueller “it’s over. Go home.“

Do you think he will consider Ron Rivera for OC? He knows run pro and would be a great air a parent. What has watching all those NFL types over the years led you to believe?
Air a parent ?

That’s on the level of Pre-Madonna and Chicken Sees Her Salad.

(I assume siri is to blame)

The man’s been coaching for 50 years. Why are you acting like he’s an unknown?
Not sure how the hell you got that out of my post. I was pointing out that MJY, as usual, doesn't know anything about Pete Carroll or football for that matter. I said nothing about Carroll being an unknown.

I bet if you asked MJY about Carroll's USC scandal, for example, it would take him an hour to go to wikipedia and get back to you

No, you were pointing out a dumbass narrative that you and the rest of my haters keep trotting out despite the fact that I talk 10 times the amount of football you guys do and all you guys do is sit back and heckle people.

I'm not sure if he gets an OC offer, but i'd love him as a pass game assistant like he was in san fran

Wow @remydat seems like a real beta incapable of leading men!
There was an interview he had with NFL radio, and maybe it's just the meatball in me hoping against hope, but he sounds different. Like actual confidence and just straight forward. Not an idiot like flus, nagy and whoever else. Not condescending and patronizing like Lovie. Just a really good speaker at minimum.

However, he also said John schoop inspired him to get into coaching 😬

As stated there... that's a wild roller coaster ride... I wasn't here for the Getsy fun, but I remember among friends and other crap that Bears fans were thinking he'd get hired away... just like Slowick. Kinda funny in retrospect. In this case, at least Slowik did legitimately do well last year. Firing seems semi-premature though. What obvious choices are even out there for OC roles?

I wouldn't hate it, but there were concerns last year about slowiks game planning and play calling that just never got loud because Stroud was balling out

Anyone blaming Liam Coen just look at Slowik. Tampa fans are being idiots, look at your owner who chose to stick with the bubba gump shrimp captain.

I think he was pointing out your dumbass narratives like promoting Flus hiring Ron Rivera for OC in case he was fired and a interim HC would be needed, or that there was a thing called run pro. Just because you blabber subject adjacent nonsense doesn't mean you are talking about the subject. Just like talking about Star Wars isn't talking about astrophysics.

He's probably their Eddie George.

This is exactly why he should have just taken the promotion when it was offered 2 years ago, and also why the Rooney rule sucks. Ian is more than qualified but the Bears aren’t good enough to sell this hire to the fans, so yes it is probably for the Rooney rule.
