Here's some insight as to the Bears' interview process. I don't know if this is typical for NFL teams, but if I'm the top HC candidate that can pick what team to go to, this seems like an overly tedious process. Or like the article states, "too many cooks in the kitchen."

Gotta think Brady's going to have a huge influence on this. If Johnson prefers the Pats to the Bears we're looking at the rest of this crop.

Vrabel is going to the pats.
It clearly the best situation outside of the bears. Most cap space in the NFL, draft capital and you have a far superior qb talent than anything in this draft(and perhaps next years too)

Maybe I should be worried about the Raiders but I’m just not. I watched Kraft’s presser and he said he wants to get this done quickly. That screams Vrabel to me. Bears said they want to take their time, that screams Johnson as you might not be hiring him until after the Super Bowl.
Why would anyone take the Raiders over either of these jobs? It certainly would not be a football decision.
The wild card is Jacksonville still. You don’t know what that owner will do if he falls in love with Johnson, could offer him $25 million a year he is that nuts and rich.
