Wow, this could actually work out for the Bears. If the Colts give up a first for Marshall or shoot even a second. The Bears could go after Cobb in FA and have more picks to get this defense fixed with higher round talent.

Not sure how wrapping up more money in a far less skilled player in terms of #1 WR helps anyone but Cobb.

Marshall is the best WR that has ever played for this franchise. He might be 31 but with his size and physicality, he can probably be effective until he's 35. I don't give a crap about all the locker room bs. Do you think Steve Smith was a joy to play with at Carolina? TO? Moss? The guy is still a stud and they don't have too many right now.
Plus, he's probably the best run blocking WR in the game.

Careful, people hate facts here.

People ask yourself this...Are the Bears going to realistically contend for a Superbowl this year?

What if we could free up some cap space to sign some younger FAs that may help the team 3 to 4 years down the road and pick up an extra draft selection?

Marshall is not the future. If you can get something good for him, you take it. It's that simple.

Again, you guys focus too much on age. Sure you want a 25 year old stud, but I'll take a 32 year old stud as well. Only way I trade Marshall is for a#1 or 2 #2a

Luck and Marshall would light it up and would push their offense top 3 easily. If pace wants their 1st he has to hammer that to their GM.

Can you name one in NFL history that wasn't?

I don't know of any. Don't play stupid. I'm implying one of marshals caliber, it's not that easy to just bank on a rookie being as good as brandon has been. There isn't an issue with Brandon's production, I'm just hoping he can get his shit together. But it doesn't seem likely.

Do your research:

I was really pulling for Arians more I read about the guy- I think he's gonna be a hell of a good coach.--- 1/22/13.

Trestman was hired on 01-16-13. No wonder you're right 90% of the time.

If the Bears can get a 1st round pick for pretty much anyone they should take it.

I seriously doubt that is what the Colts are offering.

If I could get a 1st or 2nd for

Cutler
Marshall
Forte

They would be traded yesterday.

He doesn't have time with all of the heroic feats he encounters and then the time it takes to write them down and share with us.

Or all the people watching that must happen at the strip club.

I think Jeffrey got a bad look this year. Injured, trestmans offense, jay throwing the ball pretty inaccurately in the endzone a few times that shouldve been Jeffery TDs

Jeffery got fucked by Cutler overthrowing him on ever fuckin deep ball. But Jeffery did drop the ball on multiple game changing plays. Either way, it doesn't really matter. You want to have 2 WRs that teams are scared of.

If the Bears can get a 4th or better for Marshall, I'd probably trade him. Interesting though, the Colts don't seem like they should be desperate at WR. TY Hilton is a borderline #1 guy. They just drafted Donte Moncrief, who has a lot of promise and put up a couple 100 yard games in the 2nd half of the season. And they just picked up Duron Carter, who has a huge ceiling. If they do get Marshall and Wayne doesn't retire, one of those 2 young guys is the 5th WR, on a team that also has 2 pretty good receiving TEs, so you're talking about the 7th option (8th if they get a RB) with a ton of promise. Even one as the 4th WR/6th option in the pass game is probably decent depth.
