You know there is no definitive way of knowing if he has calm down unless you keep him? It just seems like you are skirting the question.
Personally I am in favor of Marshall staying...he is a great talent, could be an asset if the Bears move on from Cutler, and I think with the right coaches they will be able to keep his antics under control. I see the reasoning for moving on from Marshal and hope that if Pace goes that route he trades him instead of cutting him. But I think he provides more on the team than off.

I agree. But it's a talent drop off that is ok to be with if it means making the team better as a whole. We need to be a good team all around to contend. Not just on offense.

I want Marshall here but if you somehow manage to convince the Colts to give up their 1st then I'm all for it. Torrey Smith would make a good #2 also if they let im test FA.

THIS SUCKS!!! Trade/Cut Cutler before getting rid of Marshall. Cutler is the one that is overpaid and is holding this team back. Marshall is the one that single handedly won us the few games that we did with Cutler because he is so only one who cared enough.
The only player I would be somewhat satisfied in replacing Marshall would be Amari Cooper in the draft. He is a complete and polished player. Don't give me Cobb. Anyone who plays with Rodgers is simply a product of having a really good QB. Cobb is nothing special, would be overpaid, and a downgrade to Marshall. At least Amari Cooper will be playing on a rookie deal.

Marshall is the best WR that has ever played for this franchise. He might be 31 but with his size and physicality, he can probably be effective until he's 35. I don't give a crap about all the locker room bs. Do you think Steve Smith was a joy to play with at Carolina? TO? Moss? The guy is still a stud and they don't have too many right now.
Plus, he's probably the best run blocking WR in the game.
