Fwiw sisters of mercy was lame because his voice was fucked from touring or whatever, but he also for whatever reason did all his singing from behind the drum riser.

That said, the salt shed is a pretty fucking cool venue

I've been a subscriber to the CSO for...twenty years or so (depending on when I was living here)? This year I'm seeing The Firebird, Glass and Mendelssohn, Mahler's 1st, Holst's Planets, and Rachmaninov's 3rd.

The Forge in Joliet has a bunch of old school black metal shows on occasion, so I tend to hit those up. NIU has an amazing music program, so I wander out there every once in a while as well.
Since you have Josh from Type O in your avatar we probably have similar music taste. Last show for me was Biohazard & Megadeth and next one is Exodus.

Ah idk because i don’t know them too well outside ‘this corrosion’ but you could tell the band was just like literally “let’s get this show over with”

Just saw Steve Vai and Joe Satriani at Chicago Theater last night.
Even better show than I thought it would be.

Then this afternoon I got tix for The Aristocrats @ Bottom Lounge in August.
