I can accept that as well Soxsider, but I mentioned at least a couple of times about how Zambrano's velocity was way up. Most of this season he has been sitting at 89, but he was working at around 92 for most of the game. Zambrano wasn't perfect, but he made pitches when he had to. THe pitch he struck Konerko out on with guys in scoring position was a sick pitch. And really the whole at bat was a good example of how we was wild but effective.

Good win for the Cubbies...Doesn't say much about either team though. I don't think either side will be surprised if they win or lose 2 outta 3.

This is honestly the only thing that comes to mind. Mostly because I'm pretty sure the Sox have won the series for as long as I can actually remember. Besides '07 and '08, but I think the Sox also swept the Cubs in '08 as well.

In 2008 Sox were swept at Wrigley, but the Cubs were swept at USCF. Back to back Sunday night games on ESPN.

Nice outing by Zambrano. Really liked how Castro played tonight and the contribution Pena gave.

Ozzie's ejection was pretty damn funny too

When I first read this this morning I thought it said "Who wants to watch A horse shit baseball." Cuz I don't want to see a horse shit baseballs either, but then I realized what it said.

It was also 630 AM after a night of drinking.

... No reason Floyd doesn't mow down the Cubs line-up.

...

No, there is a reason and after last night I now know what it is. Floyd really isn't that good and is at best a 4th starter on a team. Shows a flash of brilliance every once in a while, but overall, not good at all. Based on the pitches he threw last night, the White Sox should have lost by more.

He was still a ***** for it. Wasn't the first or the last time he got into with someone. Yeah AJ slapped the plate, but that was at home in front of your home fans in a big rivalry game after a big collision, of course he's going to do it.

Leave it to the classless scrubs to want to fight about it.

I love the dunn rippage by cnm. throwing a rubber ball against the wall hoping it will stick.

Did you see the break down when a full time everyday player goes from that to a full time DH....the frank thomas comparison? i bet you didnt.

No.. He's sucked this year..

You sound a lot like CO there. :smug2:
